Webb was the type of a player that you never knew what he is going to do pass , shoot , dribble he had all the skills of the world on his game . He was a guard on a big mans body .Terrific talent he is a must hall of famer
Webber in his prime was the most dangerous PF in the game. The guy had an awesome low post game with amazing footwork. He ran the pick and roll to perfection with Bibby. His fast break skills were top notch. Great finisher. But nothing compares to his passing ability. He was a better passer than 90% of the point guards in the game.
and washington he was great and gs warriors he was great too, and when in detroit was a big sixth man for them puttin up 11 points and like 6-7 rebounds
his main skill is still overlooked as even you did not mention it, that is how bad his greatest skill is overlooked....hands for a big man...i don't know if you used to collect sportscards but that was always on the back of his basketball cards... "great hands for a big man"...his ball catching ability of passes were his best asset...to be brief, he was great all around.
That was CWebb for you. He and Vlade prided themselves on being like guards. How they passed the basketball for big men were mesmerizing. Even Brad Miller when they traded Pollard for him got into the act. I loved It!!!
Chris Webber is a true KING. He's probably the best Kings player of all time and one of the best big men to ever play in the NBA. I will have to put Webber in my top 10 big men of all time even though he doesn't have the championship to back it up even though he was cheated off of a championship and his teammates. We need another Webber in the Kings right now
Every time I see highlights like these I cant help but miss the old kings. They got ripped out of the championship they deserved, and now they might be leaving Sac. It's sad, but I'll always remember Cowbell Kingdom.
Easily the best passing forward of all time, a point guard trapped inside a forwards body. He was a very exciting player to watch. He could do so many things that the players you mentioned could not do. So unique but your right it doesn't make him the best ever. Still my favorite though.
I never got the chance to watch chris webber in his prime. But after watching this video, it looks like he could do everything a PF should and way more. Definitely deserves to be in the HOF
Chris Webber was the shit especially in his prime. He had all types of arsenals such as his post games, assists, rebounds, jump shots for a big man. He was a true PF and he was also the very few that can defend Shaq in his prime.
easily one of the top 10 power forwards of all time... Malone Duncan Dirk Barkley Garnett McHale Hayes Webber McAdoo Rodman (best rebounder to ever play the game) Kemp (at his prime) and Bosh were also a pleasure for my eyes..
People who say he chocked in the clutch or he was afraid to take the big shot know nothing. He was a selfless player always willing to make the extra pass. Just like Lebron. I'm not comparing their games im just saying both of them lack that killer mentality, and there is nothing wrong with that. Its a great compliment because it means you are a team player. Those are the type of players you want on your team. Not the superstar drama queens these days like Carmello and Dwight Howard.
yes he does because it is the basketball hall of fame not the pro basketball hall of fame he was one of the best high school/college player of all time not to mention he revolutionized basketball as a culture he had as big an impact on basketball culture as allen Iverson and Michael Jordan did
There is only one king of kings and that is JESUS CHRIST!! God bless you all!! Repent and seek the Lord!! Tomorrow is guaranteed to no man!! Repent today!!❤️❤️ Revelation 19:16 King James Version (KJV) 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
just look at whom he played against.. greatest era of PF's ever.. Big Fundamental, Big Ticket, Sheed, even Barkley and Malone were still around, and everyone of em knew that Time Out could play, HOF no doubt
My favorite PF to never win a championship. This Sacramento Kings Team became the most exciting team in the NBA upon C-Webb's arrival. Hate the fact that they got robbed in 2002 NBA Playoffs. They were fun to watch.
If Chris stayed in Golden State, his career would have been different and would have been a first ballot hall of famer. Maybe Webber would have won a championship. If Don Nelson would have treated Chris better and not treat him bad the relationship would have been different. Coach Nelson never coached a player like Chris Webber before a unique big man, who can run, pass, rebound, score, play in the high post, and block 2 shots a game.
Yes I agree with you. Unfortunately, the nba has had many tragedies to its fallen stars like you mentioned with cwebb, mcgrady, yao, and agent zero. Also remember Baron Davis had he not gotten injured that much, he would have been an all star more than 2 times. Steve Francis was very good but he had attitude problems with Jeff VanGundy and also in Orlando, getting suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.
Him and shaq had similar careers. They came into the league dominating but were to inexperienced to do anything big, then when they went to Cali, in webbers case, another cali team, their full potential became appearant.
Webber was my favorite player and the look on his face when he was backing up Malone,I thought he was going to knock him out lol.i wish he would have won a championship.i mean the king's were just about the best team at that time except for the greatest ever and his bulls.they stopped a few good teams from winning it all.
The timeout in the championship game as a member of the Michigan Wolverines killed his ability to be good in crunch time, his unhappy tenure in Washington, and he also wanted no part of the basketball in the closing seconds of the laker series in 2002 as a member of the Sacramento Kings.
@AxonMoses and I'm saying.. yes you're right.. nonetheless he missed a lot of games already before he was 30.. imagine how productive this years would be without those injuries..
scary thing is, the year cwebb got drafted, Orlando actually had the #1 pick but traded it to golden state. Now imagine this: if orlando didn't do that trade (they got hardaway instead) you would have CWEBB AND SHAQ ON THE SAME TEAM...I mean, you can't think of a much better PF-C combo.
@AxonMoses just look how many games he missed during his career. most games (76) in seasons was during his rookie year. and all those years in sacramento.. 00/01: 70 games 01/02: 54 games 02/03: 67 games 03/04: 23 04/05: 46 games... makes a total 250 of 410 games during his prime years (26-31)... what was your point again?
One of the most skilled big men to the ever play the game, and maybe the best passing big man ever in the NBA
Webb was the type of a player that you never knew what he is going to do pass , shoot , dribble he had all the skills of the world on his game . He was a guard on a big mans body .Terrific talent he is a must hall of famer
02' Kings were underrated as a whole.
league robbed them of a championship
Webber in his prime was the most dangerous PF in the game. The guy had an awesome low post game with amazing footwork. He ran the pick and roll to perfection with Bibby. His fast break skills were top notch. Great finisher. But nothing compares to his passing ability. He was a better passer than 90% of the point guards in the game.
he did great his whole career Sacramento he was a beast philly he was a beast he averaged 20 points 10 rebounds both years in philly
and washington he was great and gs warriors he was great too, and when in detroit was a big sixth man for them puttin up 11 points and like 6-7 rebounds
his main skill is still overlooked as even you did not mention it, that is how bad his greatest skill is overlooked....hands for a big man...i don't know if you used to collect sportscards but that was always on the back of his basketball cards... i used to love picking chris webber when playing nba live
Most underrated player of all time
Best passing power forward to ever play the game.
Duncan or gasol
Man if orlando kept Chris Webber....Shaq and Chris
That was CWebb for you. He and Vlade prided themselves on being like guards. How they passed the basketball for big men were mesmerizing. Even Brad Miller when they traded Pollard for him got into the act. I loved It!!!
"The Best In The World"
﹝Chris Webber﹞
Chris Webber is a true KING. He's probably the best Kings player of all time and one of the best big men to ever play in the NBA. I will have to put Webber in my top 10 big men of all time even though he doesn't have the championship to back it up even though he was cheated off of a championship and his teammates. Shawn Kemp, Jermaine O'Neal and Chris Webber are some of the 10 most underrated player's ever. All 3 are in my 10 favorites.
Jermaine oneal was waaaay underated
Every time I see highlights like these I cant help but miss the old kings. They got ripped out of the championship they deserved, and now they might be leaving Sac. It's sad, but I'll always remember Cowbell Kingdom.

My favorite player ever and loved watching that Kings team play that was beautiful to watch
he was so ridiculously explosive and athletic... its a shame to see what injuries can do to such gifted people
Best power forward ever to play :) shoots, assists, dunks on everybody, smart, rebounder... No other had it all ...
I never got the chance to watch chris webber in his prime. But after watching this video, it looks like he could do everything a PF should and way more. Definitely deserves to be in the HOF
Damn~ Absolutely Yes!
He absolutely deserved to be in Hall of Fame.
Chris Webber was the shit especially in his prime. He had all types of arsenals such as his post games, assists, rebounds, jump shots for a big man. He was a true PF and he was also the very few that can defend Shaq in his prime.
What Chris Webber deserves is a ring
He was a monster! will never forget the Lakers-Kings series with Webber on the line-up. Coming from a Miami Heat fan.
Man, watching the kings in their black and purple was just awesome.
Webber, Divac, Bibby, Christie, Bobby Jackson, Stojakovic.....what a team
easily one of the top 10 power forwards of all time...
Malone
Duncan
Dirk
Barkley
Garnett
McHale
Hayes
Webber
McAdoo
Rodman (best rebounder to ever play the game)
Kemp (at his prime) and Bosh were also a pleasure for my eyes..
Malone over Duncan? Lol ur on drugs
People who say he chocked in the clutch or he was afraid to take the big shot know nothing. He was a selfless player always willing to make the extra pass. Just like Lebron. best pf EVER, the mailman and duncan got most of the love but they were nowhere NEAR as talented as c-webb!
Webber era um monstro , um jogador fabuloso .
This cat always gave my Lakers fits. Much respect...
yes he does because it is the basketball hall of fame not the pro basketball hall of fame he was one of the best high school/college player of all time not to mention he revolutionized basketball as a culture he had as big an impact on basketball culture as allen Iverson and Michael Jordan did
John Pink Chris Webber was a monster but not as influential as AI or Jordan lol
He belongs in both way better than Grant Hill or Tracey McGrady
Chris Webber should be a HOF. He was a great player and one of the dominant PF in the league when he played...
2002 Kings had the game on lockdown !!!
There is only one king of kings and that is JESUS CHRIST!! God bless you all!! Repent and seek the Lord!! Tomorrow is guaranteed to no man!! Repent today!!❤️❤️
Revelation 19:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
I hope he can be "hall of famer" someday!
I think chris webber is the most talented pf off all times

How can anyone dislike this, amazing stretch of basketball!
Hall of famer if he didt tear his knee up. Best passing big man in the game
He's my favorite pf of all time, but i will give cwebb this, he's went toe-to-toe w/ two great championship teams, the one at duke, and the Lakers

My favorite PF to never win a championship. This Sacramento Kings Team became the most exciting team in the NBA upon C-Webb's arrival. Hate the fact that they got robbed in 2002 NBA Playoffs. They were fun to watch.

What about Barkley and Garnett?
ah..,. this was the days of the kings
He seemed to express: this attack is a one-to-one singles, this time to see my performance, I have to pitch into the basket inside.
another great player slowed down by injuries in his prime.. what a shame. I'm wondering how far he could have gone..
dude make a Bibby Mix! with all his great footage too!
Webber was my favorite player and the look on his face when he was backing up Malone,I thought he was going to knock him out lol.i wish he would have won a championship.i mean the king's were just about the best team at that time except for the greatest ever and his bulls.they stopped a few good teams from winning it all.

Man, I can't get past the soundtrack...Amazing...!
Webber's best teammates were Mullin, Sprewell, Owens, Strickland, Howard, Chaney, Williams, Christie, Stojakovic, Divac, Pollard, Jackson, Bibby, Iverson, Iguodala, Dalembert, Billups, Hamilton, Prince, and Wallace.
C-Webb
Anyone knows what the tracks are?
Me too!
My " favorite PF" in the world~
And also it's my favorite basketball in the world~(Because he had a higher wisdom than Michael Jordan.)
Chris Webber's career peaked when he got traded to Sacramento
The second song is Ebla - Unearthed, lol figured it out by Soundhound App on iPhone lmao
