Santa Monica connects everything you love about the classic Southern California beach town with a vibrant cityscape full of adventure, art and style. Los Angeles’ coolest neighbor is nestled alongside the Pacific Ocean, and is a seaside playground offering something for everyone. Shop, eat, and see street performers at the Third Street Promenade. View the Santa Monica Pier and beyond from atop Pacific Park’s shimmering ferris wheel.
You forgot driving off the pier on a speeding vehicle
haha yes - GTA folks were all probably waiting for that suggestion
California looks very beautiful and attractive, thank you for the information and the quality of the content of your video !
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed.
I had the best time with my family at the Santa Monica Pier years ago, watching this brought back my memories. It is the most iconic LA spot and a very beautiful beach to visit for a full day!
I really enjoy it there - so much to see and the beach is great.
Definitely an excellent portrayal of the Santa Monica Pier area. I used to love going down there on days off. Particularly during the off season when it wasn't as busy.
I would love to live in that area, I think I'd spend so much time by the water. But agree, off season would be best.
California is so amazing, I haven’t been to Santa Monica yet so thanks for the info
It's beautiful there, definitely add it to a future trip 🙌
There really is so much to do around the pier. We've not been, and I was quite impressed to see the variety of options. I didn't know the pier was so old...and that Route 66 ends in Santa Monica! Parking there is reasonable compared to what we are used to at some of the beaches here! I would really enjoy biking along that trail on the beach 🚲☺️
I didn't realize it was so old either or the history behind it. We thought parking was pretty good and there's tons of it... you guys love your scooter and bike trails - this one would be perfect for you.
Wow, this is freaking gorgeous my friend, what a majestic scenery! Love this upload!!!
Thanks so much!!
Congratulations on 15K 🤗🥳
Lol, we don’t know when last we’ve been on a funfair ride 😅 this one looks great, so close to the water.
The sunset on the pier is amazing 🥰
We’d be so keen to rent a bike, seems like there’s a lot to be seen 🤗
Wow, love the promenade!
Thank you so much!! It would definitely be a fun day for kids... maybe not so much for adults at the ride area. The promenade and people watching were my favourite activities there 🙌
That was awesome to watch thanks so much for the video. I now want to add that to must see when I travel on vacation
Thanks very much! It's a great spot to visit if you can.
A day in an amusement park is always great especially in this perfect location!
I think the 40 dollars isn't that bad of a deal!
I love street acts, always fun!
The bike ride looked so much fun!
All the best!
Yes it would definitely be a fun spot to bring kids for the day...they would get use out of the daily pass on the rides for sure.
Nice to see you guys back to some international travels! We've been to LA, but have never taken the time to go to Santa Monica pier. Looks like there's plenty to do there though. Love all the tips!
There is a lot to do, and even as a tourist attraction there were so many locals enjoying the area too 👌
Loved this video. Very informative and professionally done by you. Another beautiful video :)
Thank you very much, appreciate it
Great video. Very helpful for an upcoming trip!
Glad it was helpful!
So awesome and beautiful place 🥰😍 congratulations to 15k journey
We really enjoyed it there :) Thanks so much!
Excelente, sin duda un lugar muy hermoso para visitar gracias por compartirlo con nosotros.. Saludos desde Chile
Ty for the tips
Loved this! We plan on heading to Santa Monica Pier next year so we are definitely adding these to our bucket list
Awesome - hope this list can help you plan your visit.
First!! Awesome video! Love the quality of this one!
Thank you thank you!!
This was so nostalgic to see, I went here 15 years ago and tried my first ever churro on the pier before getting a little too much sun on the beach, I remember loving how big the beach area was.
Funny that you saw a Burger King ad being filmed, always something being filmed in LA!
What memories!! Getting too much sun is easy to do there for sure. My hubby loaded up with sunscreen even though we visited in mid-November.
Great video Sara!
Thank you!
Great video guys!
Thank you!
Helpful as I show family around visiting from the east coast
Glad to hear!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!! Appreciate the support 🙌
HEY I WAS THERE IN MAY
Awesome!
Thank you for making such an informative video! I’m a fellow Canadian, travelling to California for the first time in about 3 weeks, so this will be very helpful in planning our day at Santa Monica Pier 😊 I’m just curious… when did you shoot this video? It looks quite cool there - people are wearing jackets. If you made this video in mid-April I think I’m going to have to pack some more warm clothing!
Thank you!
We were there in October, so it was cooler in the evenings. Glad the video could be helpful for you! Have a great trip.
Nice video.
Thanks!
Be sure to visit the carousel on the Santa Monica Pier. (It's in the old building on the left as you enter the pier.) This carousel, which was wonderfully restored, is one of the most beautiful in the world, and is a National Historic Landmark.
Wow
Sister , I have only half day time to see Santa Monica in forenoon .
What all and how these r to b seen in what sequence ?
Pl guide .
From India in SF now.
My family is going to the LA area this summer and I did a little research before making plans to visit the pier. Specifically about the fishing. You don't need a license to fish. This quote is taken from an article written in April of this year:
"Santa Monica Pier
Address: 200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica
License: Free
Open: 6:00 a.m. 10:00 p.m.
One of the most iconic fishing piers in California, the Santa Monica fishing pier is a “pier rat’s” favorite. The 2,000-foot-long pier features two decks. The upper deck is a wider platform, lined with shops and food stands, as well as a whole amusement park. The lower deck, meanwhile, is where most fishermen decide to wet their lines from."
Great to know! Not like here in Ontario where you need a license to fish anywhere!
Do they still have the bumper cars that are shown in the opening credits of Three's Company?
Not likely the same ones, but there are bumper cars!
is it easy to go from los Angeles to Santa Monica by public transportation?
This definitely looks a little warmer than Canada right now, hahaha.
It certainly was. Nice break from the cold 🙌
How many times have you guys been to LA?
We've been twice now. Our first time there we were there for 8 nights.
Go to grove street
What about all the homeless that live all around the Pier? You forgot to add them as one of the attractions to see.
I stayed in California in Bay area but didn't visit this place. It has lot to offer.
So much to do here 👍

Santa Monica pier is like times square in NY. A sad tourist trap to avoid. You lost me in the first 30 seconds of your video.
