Omg so relatable. There’s always that kid who just reads their 10 pg notes and knows everything, then theirs me who needs to study for hours. Can you do a expectation vs reality with those kids and kids like us that need to study .
I'm gifted but even if you're "smart" you have to work hard. You could be the smartest person in the world and get Fs. It's all about hard work. My #1 tip is just to pay attention and not be scared to ask questions. Remember that your teachers are there to help you. There is a time for socialization, and a time for education. So, don't talk in class, ok? Also your tips are on point

As a straight A student, I can say that all you have to do is listen in class and you'll be fine with an A. Pay absolute attention, no distractions, and go above and beyond in the work. One rule I've used is when there's an assignment, believe that a lot is expected out of you (like a LOT) and work of of that criteria. Good luck! :)
Okay, so I've always been one of those annoying kids that always got straight A's without trying but now I'm taking AP classes so I'm getting all A's except AP Calculus and AP Chemisty... this is new to me.

Ms Concave I do class work but only exams at the end of the year count especially the exam at the end of our last year of school class tests aren't counted for us (I'm Irish)
Ms Concave We have lots of class work and home work as well, only it doesn’t do anything for your grade at the end of the year. Some teachers can give you a worse grade in something called “behavior” or “organization”, but those grades doesn’t count towards your GPA, and are only ever looked at by some employers. What determines your grade in each subject is 100% your test and exam scores
Emilie Eriksen that's insane. Do you do your work? Here in America we have behavior grades, because it normally effects your academic grades. I would still Do my work or I would get in trouble by my mom 😂

I know I love taking neat nice and tidy notes but my teacher always and when i say always I MEAN ALWAYS rushes us and it's just had such an bad impact on my writing. Do not get me wrong I still write neat, but it's just I don't feel as confident studying my notes cuz there not as neat as they used to be. Pls help keegan! 😣😣😣

Ah, I wish tests only counted 50% of my grade, rather than 100% like they do here. Schools in Norway are not easy on you
