This is a timely video, in a way. My favorite Estonian UA-camr, Antspants, recently bought a non-running, beat-to-poop Soviet-era Kirovets heavy tractor. Comparing the two, your model against his real-life tractor, you really nailed the worn and weathered paints. Very well done, Sir.

Wieder ein fantastisches Modell! Nur zwei Anmerkungen: Dem Motor fehlt meiner Meinung nach die Öl/Diesel Verschmutzung. Dieses Motoren lecken überall und sind entsprechend Öl verschmiert. Und muss man beim bearbeiten von Resin eine Maske tragen? Wünsche ein gutes Jahr 2024.

I've noticed on 2nd markets for any scale diecast construction and service vehicles are way more expensiver than diecast cars of any scales, wonder why that is?? I mean i dont think anyone would desire a tractor trailer puller than a AMG project 1. but than again people have different tastes?

Servus Thomas. Wieder ein extrem schönes Modell was du hier gebaut hast. Du hast ja am Ende geschrieben "nicht einfach zu bauen" und das dachte ich mir schon als ich gesehen habe, das man die Bauteile mit einem Dremel raustrennen muss. Aber das hat dich ja nicht aufhalten lassen 🙂Spannend fand ich, das du deine Pistole mit Glasreiniger reinigst, dass muss ich auch mal ausprobieren. Wäre es möglich, das du dazu mal ein kleines Tutorial macht, also wie du deine Airbrush "behandelst"? Zwischenreinigung mit Glasreiniger, am Ende der Lackierarbeiten dann auch oder kommen da weitere Mittel zum Einsatz? Ich nutze meine Airbrush oft nicht, weil der Reinigungsaufwand am Ende dann oft länger dauert als die Lackierarbeiten 🙂

I've always been impressed with the level of weathering done. Some modelers just have an eye for what looks just right depending on scale and distance viewed at. Beautiful job, very impressive ! You should think about putting out a book like AK does. It would be a great reference to have the workbench !

For acrylic paints, use glass cleaner. For solvent based paints with extremely clean ak. Thank you 😀

Really hope you will one-day, create a pitstop, where the big & heavy Zombie Kill Team tractors, with trailers, will be making a forced pit stop, if only to top off their fuel tanks.
If you go for somekinda LZV roadtrain setup or not...
I also think your W-50L and that US-Bulldozer, would have made a nice combo.

I always love your work...but...
This way of putting virtually the whole thing together then painting it all at once seems like it's just to build something in a hurry...
I mean if that's only for putting it together for your channel so you can show what it looks like when it's done...then ok I guess...
But to do that all the time it's like speed building and to me that's not the fun of building...
I still build the old fashion way of detailing everything out...the engine...the chassis...body parts...cab or interior...
Then I assemble everything at the end...
But I must be a dinosaur 🦖🦕...lolol
Because I see ALOT of people doing speed building even over two or three videos...
I don't know but you should enjoy the build...get into it...and not get into it to get it over in a hurry...
Oh well... that's me ...still love some of your work...best

Super, I admire your artistic talent.
That mismatched wheel really sells it for me. It’s a piece of the life history of the tractor beyond paint chipping and dirt. It tells me the tractor has worked hard and had to have bits and pieces replaced.

Awesome work on that resin kit. One thing that surprised me was that you used super glue to glue transparent for windows. I thought CA's and superglue would frost transparent plastics... or is the brand you use safe on this point ? I myself use rather crystal clear as windown glue like I used format aircraft canopies or my train windows. Stick well and allow time to adjust the position. I have train coaches glazed using cristal clear and evergreen transparent styrene made 15 years ago that still hold well and true.

I've never built a resin model myself, but it seems like there's a lot of extra work involved. The surface texture looks less detailed than conventional kits - but I still got the impression that you included less 'bonus material' than usual.
As for the painting, especially the ageing effects, I think I've learnt something new! (Again)
One final question: I don't read all the comments under your videos (after all, I still have a life), but could it be that someone else besides me thought that you used your -really cool- windscreen wiper effect a bit too often?

Thomas often- or rather mostly depicts scenes with vehicles well beyond their best years. Why on earth should the wiper be the last thing working on that collection of scrap parts?
