- I use big words like "bracket", "wire thingy", and "bezel". I also show you how to save $60+ dollars by doing it yourself. With only a few simple tools you may already have, you can do it too. Time to complete was around 1 hour and that will depend on your level of mechanical ability. However, it shouldn't take you longer than 1 1/2 hours. Spot on video. My 2004 TJ Sport was a breeze following your instructions. I sat my MacBook on the driver's dash and followed your step by step directions, less than an hour to finish. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Wow! Thanks for this tutorial, after the wiring it only took me 40 minutes to remove and replace the radio. I have never had such an easy install. Thanks again!
Great video. Suggestion: No need for the background music.
Where did you find that silver cluster cover and dash piece that covers the stereo and climate controls? Or did you plastidip them?
Older video, but I used it to replace my OEM radio that died. Great instructions, only took an hour to replace. New stereo is way better. Bluetooth, hands free for phone, etc. Thanks. My brother in law is a retired fire fighter. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
CardsFan 18, The Jeep is a Wrangler X, Columbia Edition. This package added the silver colored trim on the interior, rip-stop fabric on the seats, dark grey painted fender flares, and dark grey painted aluminum alloy rims.
One of the top videos for installing aftermarket radio in Wrangler. Great tips on that anti theft device and the small clips that pull out easily with the cover.
Great video. Suggestion: No need for the background music.

Buying my first 04 TJ on Monday and I was planning on putting in a new stereo. Thanks for the info! Also, I see the engine in the background toward the end of the video. I'm actually in a fire academy right now learning how to properly put the wet stuff on the red stuff and everything else the job entails, hope to complete with certs in hand by May. Thanks again!
