This track sounds like it’s straight out of the animated series.
That’s what I said!
Yea i can feel that too 🐧
this entire sequence honestly felt straight out of BTAS. Fits.
“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”
Romans 10:13
I can totally picture Riddler seeing his plan unfold and going "MWAHAHAHAHAAAAA...!!"
"False promises of R E N E W A L........ CHANGE!? We'll give 'em a reeeaal change now!"
“We’ve spent our lives in this wretched place SUFFERING, wondering “why us?”, now they will spend their last moments wondering “WHY THEM?!”!!!”
Idc what anyone says, the writing was outstanding (or at the very least just the screenplay/dialogue itself was very well thought out, conceived, done, and executed…) and Paul Dani’s overall performance as The Riddler was top tier, just absolute highest of high class, masterfully done and the way he delivered some of these bone chilling lines LITERALLY did put shivers down my spine the first time watching it on the big screen…(not to mention even on MULTIPLE repeat viewings…every SINGLE *TIME* !!! Without fail!!! That’s not an easy feat and should be regarded as such as well. Astounding accomplishment on the parts of not just the cast/director/writers, but also kudos just all around in general just everybody involved literally every single person’s collective effort and creativity and hard work went into pulling off this masterpiece, which everyone was naysaying and doubting before it’s release, now all those people have been silenced in my personal experience I haven’t heard a peep out of anyone of them in hindsight ever since the movie has been out now, even to this very day not a single one lol 🤷♂️ 😂😅
“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”
Romans 10:13
BTAS fans gonna love the nostalgia feeling when watching this movie
The soundtrack vibes are just like Conroy's 1990s animated Batman
This score must at least secure an Oscar nomination next year, I mean, this is just pure brilliance.
Giacchino or Jonny Greenwood with Spencer deserve to win.
All of the movie, everything making it what it is, must get an oscar.
We got a 2 hrs 55 min epic soundtrack to go with this masterpiece and really put the fear and the noir in the air. Totally agree that this whole album should win the Academy Award
@@lawrence414 agreed. The entire production is a symphony of gothic noirish atmospheric compositional brilliance
@@JoseMolina-jz9hh couldn’t have said better myself, Jose :)
Hands down the best piece off the score. I’m blown away with how uniquely different all of Giacchino’s scores are from one another. There’s no similarities whatsoever.
Minus Star Trek and Doctor Strange.
Definitely my favorite of his scores.
I mean there are similarities which isn’t a bad thing btw. You can tell how much Giacchino favors certain instruments/sounds and forms.
you can’t say there are no similarities, but yes, he is very versatile compared to other composers, one thing i had with most giacchino scores is is the shock of “wait, he also did this one?? it sounds nothing like the incredibles/ rouge one/ up...”
In some point this is sooo Arkham then change to something similar to Nolan's movies. Love it 🦇
By Arkham do you mean the games?
@@SkullFace-md9ly yes cause I got the same vibes
This is one of the best tracks. So nostalgic and beautiful at the same time.
Riddler screaming "BOOM" from behind his cell window while Ave Maria played gave me chills
Dude
The second I heard this track in the film is when the film turned from its dark crime noir genre to an epic Batman: The Animated Series finale. Just when you thought it was all over the Riddler unleashes absolute mayhem in Gotham from behind bars in Arkham watching the fireworks of his lifelong plan come to fruition.
“the streets would be flooded so quickly, evacuation will not be an option”
"Gotham wants a _real_ change? We'll give them a real change."
I got chills when I first heard that
We've spent our lives in this wretched place SUFFERING, wondering WHY US, but now they're going to spend their last moments wondering WHY THEM
"I can't get through the lines are down."
02:30 Did he just make a very dark and awesome version of the 66 theme 🤣
That part reminds me of Arkham city, whenever your doing a predator map
0:10 this part is incredibly powerful and menacing
It feels like it was ripped right out of The Animated series
Robert made a great performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Yes, yes he did
As Batman yes so perfect, not so much as bruce in my opinion
@@vicenteveragarasapiain You're not wrong, but it was intended that way, that's a part of his arc, he's still at that stage where he doesn't want to be Bruce Wayne, he only wants to be Batman, I'm assuming in the later movies he'll do more Bruce Wayne.
@@nathanielmorgan9108 eh i guess, but i still dont like so much that bruce Wayne, but Batman ufffff 😍
THIS ONE IS SO SO BATMAN
Love how the big drums represent the explosions, such a cool friggin' detail!!!
This might be in my top3 tracks for the film. So haunting yet powerful
I love how it looks like Danny elfman and Shriley Walker’s style from Batman TAS. Excellent tribute !
Arkham city vibes, awesome
Now this is Batman
SOUNDTRACK IS INCREDIBLE BATMAN WILL BE GREAT
This is one of my favorites. it evokes darkness like escaping hades.(Like orpheous)
It feels more like the darkness rolling in than escaping it. Part 2 has that feel more.
First, RIP Kevin Conroy. But to echo what everyone else is saying, this brings heavy nostalgia for The Animated Series. The whole movie reminded me of it. The Nolan trilogy was great, but this is what I really wanted out of a Batman movie.
That bass drop at 1:51 🔥 🦇
"Gotham wants a real change? *WE'LL GIVE THEM A REAL CHANGE!"*
I love the Schubert - Serenade part at the beginning!
"They want a change? We'llll give them a reall-- real change..!"
This Sounds Like It’s Straight From Arkham City
This is one of Micheal s best music soundtracks fresh and new
Gives me that Burtonverse and Animated Series vibe, the OST for Batman 2022 is so on point
"We'll give them a real, real change now!"
It's just incredible how this track sounds and feels!
The first half of this track kind of reminds me of Jerry Goldsmith's work on The Shadow, while the second half is like a mix of Trevor Jones, Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City.
3:10 thats Danny Elfman tribute right there
BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM🔥 BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM🔥BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM🔥

* behind the glass *
POW! hahaha
POW!
CHANGE! We’re gonna give them a REAL real change now!
SUFFFFFERRRRRING
From what I've heard on the soundtrack...it's offical who the best Batman soundtrack composers are
1. Danny Elfman
2. Shirley Walker
3. Michael Giacchino
In no particular order of who's better, they're all the GOAT
After years of endless Zimmer praise and the nonsensical hoisting of Holkenborg's noise, I can't tell you how happy I am to see that listing.
I still think there should be a place for Hans Zimmer. Dude created TWO iconic Batman themes.
It's a disgrace to not include Christopher Drake on that list
@@jakubrejak1114 You don't give credit to James Newton Howard?
@@TheBatman39 I have not seen The Dark Knight Returns
“thank you guys for the tips on detonators”
Now they say WHY THEM!!!!!
Just realized the opening to this track mirrors the woodwinds opening to Ave Maria.
That metric modulation!!!!!!!
the first 20 seconds>
this sounds so similar to the soundtrack from Batman vs Mr. Freeze SubZero
This song sort of reminds me of batman animated series

Gotham vibes.
Dark misty dangerous groomy ,just like rising from the grave ,I love u batman and everything about you
Menacing, eerie, and destructive. Ways to show the Riddler’s true colors and the flood of Gotham as Ed’s followers begin his endgame. A perfect way to describe what Riddler truly is: a vengeful psychopath begging for attention, and craving for revenge against Gotham’s finest for the life he went through.
BTAS vibes
Sounds very Arkham like
when the vans blow… the flooding will happen so fast, evacuation will not be an option..
Vans, not vents.
Bruce: How'd u think the bgm goin?
Alfred: It's a masterpiece sir.
Straight out of the animated series wowww!!!
I was thinking the same thing
Nope.
4:04 batman Arkham city theme
No survivors.
🦇
All their lives have been spent SUFFERING wondering why them now they will spend their last moments wondering why us
leave it to Michae; to give you something hearkening back to the original batman score by elfman
we spend our lives int this wretched place SUFFERING
I just noticed something, Michael Giaccino also did the score for "The Incredibles" and this sounds like the scene where Mr. Incredible finds out the truth
SPOILERS is this the song in which he enters the club to stop catwoman?
It's when the bomb start exploding
FIRST COMMENT
AND AN INCREDIBLE SOUNDTRACK
am I tripping or is that the arkham city theme 4:04
3:28
Yo this better be menu music in Injustice 3
10/10
This track should have been called 'Batman's failure'.
“It’s time for the LIES to finally end. False promises of Renewal… CHANGE?! WE’LL GIVE EM A REAL, REAL CHANGE NOW ! WE’VE SPENT OUR LIVES IN THIS WRETCHED PLACE…SUFFERING !!! Wondering, ‘Why US ?!’. Now THEY will spend their last moments wondering, ‘Why THEM ?!’!!”
I think this will play when Batman is being chased by the cops.
It´s when he's leading them through the flood
@@ericstorm6582 nope, its before that.
It played when batman was investigating Riddler apartment after meeting with him...
ignore all these fools, it actually played during the riddler gang on top of the gotham square garden
@@42knight No, that's part 2 of A Bat in the Rafters. This one plays while Batman investigates and discovers that Riddler is a 4channer.
4:05 is this a batman begins reference?
No
Spoiler
Gordon : miss, we need to evacuate you, now.
Miss : No, that's what people problem today, they are too scared to take action, well, that's not me (Then proceed to the speech stage)
Gordon : Geez..
Few minutes later get shot by the riddler army
Miss : ahhhh... That hurt..
Gordon : (See i told ya).......
I almost thought she was dead when she got shot.
@@mikephelps9238 that's what i thot too
@@mikephelps9238 She should have died if not for plot armour.
@@AimForMyHead81 ok please don’t bring up plot armor, I’m sick of that complaint
0:10 me watching the Whitestone bridge in New York City on June 18th 2023 at 4:53 pm
What are you talking about?
YO SOY
Is this abrasive music what the souls in purgatory hear when they are cleansing off their sins? Luckily there won’t be a part 2 to this.
😂😂
Bruh😂😂😂😂😂
You are just so *proud* of yourself, huh? Think you're just above everything and a legendary composer that you just shame on, hmm? Guess what, lame-o! It's been confirmed two more sequels, so shove that in your jealousy face!
You've got be a stand up comedian you'd have a better chance at that than anything else in your so called "life"
Bruh..THE BATMAN is getting a trilogy 🥱
