Medium shots are good to get the focus on a subject or person who’s being interactive. Wide shots should be used to display the environment. Also try moving with the soldiers with a close medium or medium shot, that’ll really grasp intensity and make your scenes much more engaging. I’m not sure if you were restricted from being near the players but being with them and running with them will really change the style of this video.

Well there is a large event in Playas, New Mexico hosted by American Milsim. Its very close to Mexican border. Its like this one but more relaxed.
