      You can get a job easily in Switzerland. The only thing stopping you is the language. Learn one of the Swiss national languages and you are good to go.

    Thanks for the information . How to register as a nurse there? Or
    can one just be employed straight and start working? Also what about language barrier or can I get jobs as a English trained nurse? Please kindly answer these questions.
    I am from Nigeria.

    Do the Agencies hire Non eu Nurses?
    I applied with Swisshr and they said they only hire EU nurses.

    • @maureensunshine3185
      @maureensunshine3185  3 місяці тому

      Hello Mohreenay682, they can only take non eu workers if they cannot find someone from the eu. The fact that most eu nurses want to work in Switzerland makes it impossible to get here unless you get an eu passport.

      Hi I am a psychiatric nurse living in Zug, Switzerland. With the Swiss Red Cross I got a part decision on my recognition. That means I have to do an “Anpassungslehrgang “, a 6 month adaption (practical). I found an employer and am in the middle of this. While I’m doing this I am employed as a care assistant.

    How much english language is used in switzerland? Is it quite commonly used on everyday basis?

    • @maureensunshine3185
      @maureensunshine3185  Рік тому +1

      Very little. Only places you will use the English language is in multinational companies or organisations. For example nurses working with the UN will use English. Big cities like Geneva and Zurich have majority of their population also speaking English but the local language is a must in the hospital set up and even for recognition of your nursing license as a foreign trained nurse.

      Oh! Salaries of people even in the same department really vary. I cannot be able to answer this precisely but check this link for general nursing then they pay you more for your speciality. Nurses generally fall on grid 8 or 9 of these charts.

However being that you are from Indonesia you might benefit from the program that takes newly qualified professionals. Check my video on the non-EU nationals that can work here.

      Social Security insurances play a big part in calculating your net salary. This depends on your age and therefore I cannot really tell you the exact net salary. However, as a rule of thumb, deduct 5.125% of each monthly gross income.

    • @maureensunshine3185
      @maureensunshine3185  Рік тому

      Hello Zolin, the Swiss permit is the main issue here. Once you are here all is possible. I know someone who worked as a nurse with Red Cross in Congo and had to do a one year practical training in the hospital. From this I guess having experience with the Red Cross does not count. They separate their recognition process from your experiences with them abroad.
