The Washington Mystics if they work free agency right, namely pick up Ashley Owusu (Used to be @ Maryland) who is fully recovered from her injuries (@ Penn State) and is killing it in the Israeli Premier Basketball League with Elitzur Holon averaging 22.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG & 4 APG. Secondly acquire some quality talent in the 2025 WNBA Draft, they need to get bigger and more athletic on the wing and in the backcourt. Someone like Aicha Coulibaly would be a perfect wing defender plus slasher and her shot is improving. The last thing which I should've said first is to keep Shakira Austin, Aerial Atkins, Aaliyah Edwards, Emily Engstler, Sika Kone, and Jade Melbourne on this roster.
Still an issue that there is no pipeline for black players to get into coaching. Over the 30 years, they did poor job. Plus they aren't getting hired that much in college. They sure aren't getting hired in Europe or China.
You are too harsh and double standard in 1 video. You praise the Dallas hire when he was hired because he is Curt Miller's buddy but want to come for Sydney. Sydney brings structure. He has years of experience and a year in the Wnba. He brings the Princeton offense and years of experience of defense. Mystics have a brighter future. If I’m Dallas, I want something else this year not just the #1 next year if I’m giving up a player of Paige’s talent. Other teams might have better offers than the Sparks. I’d be listening.
That's such a broad take on criticizing someone first, cause they never coached women's basketball.. LA Sparks did just fine with Michael Cooper- Cooper took over as head coach in 2000 and in his first season, led the team to a 28-4 record. Never coached a game of women's basketball. And the nonsense about the Mystics rosters, etc... You obviously didn't watch the team last year, at all! And if Paige B did come here, it would only be to improve the roster, just like any WNBA team.. But to throw out this garbage outlook, is insane! This man hasn't coached one game, but you have him with a losing season already, just garbage!
If I’m Dallas I would go with Miles over Bueckers. Along side Arike I think a pass point PG with ability to drive and shoot like Miles would fit better. I think Bueckers would not get to be the best version of herself there. LA better fit. Will that happen…. Who knows.

if sparks offer this years no.2 pick and 2025 unprotected 1st for paige , dallas might have to think about it
