- And it's GO GO GO for the 1991 season in Phoenix, Arizona, as the British press hype the return of Nigel Mansell to Williams and everyone else is ready for Senna v Prost, Round 4.
New teams, new drivers, new cars, new engines - but which will work and which wont?

I used to love the Phoenix circuit on the F1GP game.
Debut of Mika Häkkinen the flying Finn!
Ah yes, 1991. All circuits from Geoff Crammond's F1GP... I can still visualise a lap for most of the tracks with my eyes closed. But I was struggling with Phoenix.
Love “The Room” reference
Had to be done
oh hai doggy
If you just watched this, one woold think Lambo would become a pretty good team... But wow, did that fall apart quickly.
A shame that Alesi couldn't finish his first race in red. I think he drove very well on his debut and even got fastest lap. He would have been on the podium. It kind of resembled his whole Ferrari career though, just a huge disappointment in the end.
What brilliant footage and sounds at the beginning. Love it.
Nice avoiding action by Nelson, drifted really close tho the Williams' nose.
Nice footage of Nelson annoying JMB on the podium!
His face looked like thunder-what did Nelson say?
The "Goldalming Scud" car off to a reasonable start - Nelson giving it the extra to avoid Patrese like that.
Can we have the Amiga music as the outro music from here on in?
There was a train in service on BR around that time that I believe was nicknamed the "Scud" because you could never be sure if it would reach its destination...
Piquet bothering Balestre during the anthems on the podium was hilarious. Although he turned out to be a total asshole in later days, mercurial Piquet was one of my favorite drivers of the 80s.
ahhh 1991, a great season with a lot of former, current and future world champions back then. Senna, Prost, Mansell, Piquet, Hakkinen, Schumacher...
Supercars 2 huh (at the end), lotus turbo challenge 2 is probably on the way then ? ;) and I'm not just talking intro music either lol
1 second between P1 and P2 in quali is bonkers
Does anyone know why Williams ran with a white engine cover in early 1991? It looks so terrible (especially in comparison to the yellow "Camel" look that became such a classic).
I believe Frank Williams was doing it deliberately to wind up Camel, as they were arguing over a new sponsor contract.
@@igotmyheadstuckinapumpkin5154 Ah, makes sense...It looks terrible.
