I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to go with the Harmonic Barrel Stabilizer II with the adjustable gas block from Accuracy Systems? What are your thoughts?
wow good to know the mo rod mounts stripped out, I was going to order one for my 580+ mini 30 over the accu strut. I'm assuming the extra recoil of the 7.62x39 would cause the mo rod to strip out even quicker than yours did. excellent video series, looking forward to part 3
It was the Allen heads. For this experiment I had them tightened down and back off repeatedly. They sent me new screws free and quickly. After my next round of experiments I will loctite the new ones down and stop screwing with them.

Bought a mini-thirty from Accuracy Systems, chambered in 6.5 Grendel. Sub MOA rifle, complete cool factor, a baby M1A for sure.

I put better front and rear sights on mine and reload my cartridges. Shoots 2 moa at 3050 fps.
You should not have to make $300 worth of mods to a $1400 rifle! Just buy a S&W or Ruger AR for half the price.
$400 rifle. Some projects we take on because we want the project.
