Greetings from Vermont! Thanks for posting this video with good views of CF-GSR. The 3-bladed prop is interesting - Is it original for this edition of Norseman, or an upgrade? f.y.i.: Once upon a time, 2 dormant complete Norseman aircraft languished in a hangar in Orange, Massachusetts back around 1980-81. Both were complete, but in very poor condition after a period (years?) of use as Jump planes for sport skydiving ops there. They had the rough appearance of having been "rode hard and put away wet" and had already been dormant for some time. The understanding locally was they had been retired from use - possibly due to failed fabric test, or the FAA learned they had wood wing structures, disqualifying them from commercial ops. Within a few short years they were both gone. Regretfully, I didn't track where they went from there. Any hounds out there up for a hunt?
j' Avais une maquette du Norduyn Norseman en 1/72 ème ( Matchbox ) dans les années 80! Je trouve cet avion magnifique et apparemment très costaud et rustique à la fois! j' Espère un jour volé dans l' un des appareil?! Merci pour le partage...
