In the darkest moments of my life, I’ve learned to look to the smallest of things for hope. Life truly is a series of choices made moment by moment and we control the trajectory. In the darkest of moments, I chose beauty. More specifically, the beauty of nature and how it always finds a way. Early morning sunlight on blooming flowers, the intricate patterns of frost on glass, a refreshing warm spring rain, sunlight trickling through tree branches… you get the idea. Simple joys can be the foundation for the hope which keeps us going. We can’t lose sight of this as we navigate through our circumstances day by day. It can be easy to fall into despair but if we look to our simple reminders of what is, we can make it to the other side of it much stronger and wiser than before.
I really like the idea that each person has to find meaning for themselves. It ensures their experience is unique and contributes something special to the world. Following others will just lead you to do what they do.

Check out "nature boy" by "Gandalf" and LIFE does means love as you say, but many still use good and evil and call it love. Two love and be loved is the same holy spirit as a virgin marry. But LIFE will always reach true love as 1-6 means LIFE is L IF E because we receive two sides as F that wed as L and then we must wed sides again in reverse to cancel both sides of thought both ways at L L [six] and then we see as Love is an "I' and no longer sides of thought. Beauty will save the world- Dostoyevsky. He survived a decade in a gulag- it seems like the harshest experiences allow quiet things to shine with great meaning. Wildflowers, cloud patterns, the delicacy of the human wrist… all these “little” things are blindingly graceful, sensitive, and almost audacious, affronting in the face of horror, because they do not agree- everything is NOT ugly or meaningless. I am currently undergoing a separation with my wife. I took some counseling sessions and learned about validation technique. My co-worker told me he had an argument with his wife about their work-life balance situation. I told him I learned from the counseling that you should not jump right into talking about who has justified cause, reasoning, what is right, wrong, or makes sense. You have to at least show/pretend that you understand her feeling. (Of course, it's better if you actually understand it) I don't think telling that to him made a big impact to their relationship, but I then felt that if I end up influencing even the one couple with things I learned from my experience, there was a meaning I suffered from the experience.
I am from the countryside and tomorrow I will move to a city! I hope that I won’t let the city to corrupt my heart and keep my heart protected from all the glitters and the shine ❤
The city isn't corrupt. It's a beautiful place where you can make more of a difference than in the countryside (generally speaking). You get to share walls, sidewalks, restaurants with millions of others. It's a big adventure.

The story of the morphine for the patient made me feel quite emotional. If we can manage to elevate ourselves above our conditions we can see meaning even in a grain of sand. The human spirit is amazing.
This video reminds me of a quote that I wrote a long time ago "Give life a purpose, then life will serve you a purpose". Thanks for telling me this in a beautiful way.
Like a wise wizard once said, it is the small acts of kindness and love, and everyday-deeds of ordinary folk, that keeps the darkness at bay. Thank you for the amazing content as always
This video reminded me of something I've thought of before. Each person is unique in the universe- a truth that is so profound that it's hard to fathom. With that reality comes a responsibility- one similar to the responsibility mentioned in the video. If we stop and consider the weight of the meaning of that singular uniqueness that we each hold, we realize how beautiful it is. That in itself has meaning. And it's not a moment to compare yourself to someone else. It's a moment to fully grasp the significance and potency of the fact that you are entirely unique. Personally I believe that the characteristics that make you entirely unique in the universe come to full realization in the service of others. We seem to thrive when we're in relationship with other people. I think we're inherently relational beings.
You’re wisdom, sensitivity, and empathy expressed is commendable. Life ahead of us can be beautiful, if we live with heightened awareness choosing intentionally is at the heart of living. Years ago, much to my regret now I gave up sculpting which I recently started again. Doing something we love with passion, brings us immense joy, happiness, and fulfillment, the inner experience-internal sensations of those precious moments give meaning to what we call “Life.”
Hey ,recently found your channel and really your videos come at the right time .I also commented on previous video and I hope you'd consider it . Make video on how to make decisions in life when stuck .what should we do ,on which basis we should do it and so on 🙂.I need it and I'm kinda worried that I am making a wrong choice
To really see and be grateful for what you do have instead of what you don’t have makes all the difference in every moment you live. Even if what you do have seems small. Comparing your life to the lives of others is never a way to find your own meaning. Searching inside with love for who you are always brings answers.
Wonderful thoughts and ideas again...I love the one about the different perfect circles. I have holds at the library for both of his books and look forward to reading them. Thank you 😊
I feel like I could always do more things to improve my life, sometimes I avoid things due to fear but I know that some fear can lead to good things. It's just taking that chance, that first step that is always the hardest thing to do and blaze a new trail.
I always wacthin your videos when I want to sleep, it's give me something like strenght to wake up everyday in the morning. Thankyou for sharing your wise thought, It's mean a lot for me ❤
Thank you for this lovely reflection 🌹In the tarot card system I think it’s the card Hermit that matches this idea, where the lantern he/she holds symbolises the search for the deepest meaning of life.
I love this one. I'm still new to the teachings of philosophy. However... I admit, I've been drawn towards the absurdist side of it. I'm going to buy this book and read it through. As always, thank you so so much for your videos ❤

You are such a great discovery! You brought change into my life, I feel more at peace with myself now, more self aware and open to accept the univers. Thank you!
I like this very much: The idea that the material of life just is--especially as a former seamstress. It's not good or bad. it just is and what are you going to do with it? Our house burned down. We lost absolutely everything on 2/2/22. All I owned were my t-shirt, jeans, and socks. Even my car burned as it was adjacent to the house. I didn't have my birth certificate, driver's license, family photos, nothing. It was all gone. My husband and I had to move to Central NY from the Hudson Valley as, post-Covid, the Hudson Valley was prohibitively expensive. We bought an abandoned house at an auction. Did I feel sorry for myself? Oh, you bet I did!!! But it's turning out to be great as I'm in the process of launching an urban farm! We have perfect sun exposure for gardening and I have discovered that I don't just love gardening I have a real passion for it. At age 52 I've finally found my passion. I spend all day outside in the yard tending to my "crops." I work until I can barely move because I can't stop myself. I just love it so much. One more thing, this has become kind of like "church" for me. I was brought up in an extremely religious household but have given up on organized religion. I hope that doesn't offend as I know stoicism is a philosophy and not a religion. Your message resonates with me and I am grateful.
insisting on meaning where none exists is also a cause of suffering. the more we impose order, the more chaos we create. sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
i love you, i mean that to all reading, we are all the same. equally good and evil, that is up to you to decide not your parents, not god but the power is in you to be the change
Holy shoot. Dude your videos are so important. This is the most underrated, smart UA-cam channel. Like the fact you randomly brought up Joel Spitzer is amazing. What are the odds. That dude helped me quit haha
Another quote that resonates with the meaning of life, comes from The Prophet by Khalil Gibran: “The musician may sing to you of the rhythm which is in all space, but he cannot give you the ear which arrests the rhythm, nor the voice that echoes it.” So, it should come from within us, we're the meaning and we're the ones who give meaning to life.
I think you would be an excellent teacher for children. I actually have been thinking of this myself. Starting a very small day camp for start up legal reasons but a school. Just a small one at first. A place were the children can learn things that public school can not offer. On how to deal with life’s challenges in holistic ways. I like to paint some times and well I have been working on things of this nature. Hum have you ever thought about things like this?
Judging by the shelves in the background you have obviously read alot of books. Please make a video on top 5 books that you have read in your life,If you cant just please atleast give me a list.I need a few recommendations for summers.
I have a religion, but I like to say I explore the true spirituality of it, and I love to learn about what others believe as well. You know, you’ve actually helped me increase and understand my faith in not just the God we think about, but the God we feel inside us and all around us, I’d like to thank you for that. Also, how’s Leyla doing?
Yet another insightful video with powerful and profound ideas. Thanks a lot! By the way how is Leila doing now? We miss seeing her in your videos :( Send her my love ❤
Hmm are we sure that guy didn't just want his morphine pronto and used the doctor's convenience as an excuse? I mean it apparently worked out... got drugs, seemed altruistic, did actually save the doctor a trip, and gave Frankl book material... So the moral is always find a way to get drugs sooner rather than later. Efficiency is best. And if possible make it seem like you're doing it to benefit others! That probably is the meaning of life for some people, lol. And if anything can be, why not? Or I'm just being cynical and the guy did want the morphine later, but sacrificed his desire for the doctor's benefit. That's a more Jesus style meaning, but is it rational?
If you don't mind me asking, are you a smoker, has he helped you quit? Joel Spitzer is a gem. Every chainsmoker needs to checkc out his channel. Another great video bt the way. Thank you!
Hi man, I have only seen a couple of your videos, but I believe you are an inquiring mind, so I wanted to put this here out of love, not argument. We are all only inquiring into the nature of this reality we live in. A belief in God is reconcilable with scientific inquiry, not mutually exclusive. Faith and curiosity and science can coexist. Thomas Aquinas' Five Ways to Prove the Existence of God The First Way: Motion. The Second Way: Efficient Cause. The Third Way: Possibility and Necessity. The Fourth Way: Gradation. The Fifth Way: Design.
I read Man’s Search for Meaning but found Frankl’s belief that he survived because of his attitude to suffering unpleasant, particularly when he condemns those who didn’t survive in the concentration camps because they didn’t have the right attitude. His belief in a God also put me off.
I promise I will work on my addiction and I do believe that you would be genuinely happy for me. I’m glad that you reached out to help me. I won’t let you down. Kind regards.
Thank you for introducing me to Mr. Spitzer. The gentleman has such a sweet smile and there something about him that is so very endearing! A few of Mr. Spitzer’s words are too close to heart. Man’s Search For Meaning was the first book my therapist and I discussed for a considerable length of time. I remember she spoke about collective grief and a great many other things over the years. It’s magical how one act of kindness ripples through so many lives! I have bought the book - Yes To Life in Spite of Everything. That in itself is a wonderful gift! Thank you once again. My best wishes always.
I tried going cold turkey and I am not doing good at all. But I keep my promises and I will. There is this voice inside of me that just doesn’t allow me to settle for things that come easy. True, I am doing nicotine and it’s my failure. But I don’t keep failing. I won’t this time either.
If harry potter has taught us anything.. is that non-frivolous semiotic potential exists outside anglo-saxon lexicon ..so maybe monolinguals have a lower hanging fruit than that of creating meaning 'ex nihilo' ..i.e. learning an existing language

Another quote that resonates with the meaning of life, comes from The Prophet by Khalil Gibran:
“The musician may sing to you of the rhythm which is in all space, but he cannot give you the ear which arrests the rhythm, nor the voice that echoes it.”
So, it should come from within us, we're the meaning and we're the ones who give meaning to life.
Yes.
Curious if you have another place where you share your ideas. Could not find you on LinkedIn either. Good work tho.

Would recommend history of western philosophy by Bertrand Russell, I haven’t been able to put it down
Judging by the shelves in the background you have obviously read alot of books.
She is back to her old self!
Yet another insightful video with powerful and profound ideas. Thanks a lot!
By the way how is Leila doing now? We miss seeing her in your videos :(
Send her my love ❤
I love this channel, do you have any other socials you post on?
Thank you!
Am I the only one who feels like tearing up watching this guy? There's somethin behind what he's saying, like he's speaking in his last days...
Are you reta--rded or what?
Hi man, I have only seen a couple of your videos, but I believe you are an inquiring mind, so I wanted to put this here out of love, not argument. We are all only inquiring into the nature of this reality we live in. A belief in God is reconcilable with scientific inquiry, not mutually exclusive. Faith and curiosity and science can coexist.
Thomas Aquinas' Five Ways to Prove the Existence of God
The First Way: Motion.
Can you do one about letting people go, and attachment?
We must be our own before we can be another's

Hello! May I request for a favour ? Could you please share the link for treatment of nicotine dependence? It would be a huge help for me. Thank you.

Every video inspires me in a different way and opens my mind to thoughts i have never have before. Thank you🫡🙏🏾
I have a step by step if you are interested in hearing.
If harry potter has taught us anything.. is that non-frivolous semiotic potential exists outside anglo-saxon lexicon ..so maybe monolinguals have a lower hanging fruit than that of creating meaning 'ex nihilo' ..i.e. learning an existing language
