It's Christy Baron. She succeeded Laurie in the role after she was on the tour and replaced Laurie about July/August 1990. I saw her in 1991 (Christy) and had a video of her doing it. I know my voices. And Christy confirmed a few years ago as well. There was a live recording of Laurie actually doing this on Bway but they took it down.

I saw Laurie first in Joseph off Broadway and then on Broadway and then Cats and so on....She was simply amazing..She sang at O'Neals/Times Square and it was so fun to see her in a night club setting!!! There will never be another Laurie Beechman!

I saw her in Les Miserables on Broadway. I thought it was the best live singing performance I have ever seen and I majored in Theatre in college.
