- Many years ago, a young woman named Min Hui fell for a young man named Xin Qi. They dreamed of spending the rest of their lives together and had even planned to marry. But things between them became complicated. Xin Qi suffered from a dangerous and potentially life-threatening heart condition. And a misunderstanding between them led them to split acrimoniously.
Now, years later, they are reunited at a business event. Min Hui has risen to become an R&D director at a tech firm and Xin Qi has also made a name for himself in the business world. Deciding that “fate” has brought them back into contact for a reason, they start to talk. But Min Hui reveals that she has a son. What is more, a paternity test appears to show that the child is Xin Qi’s! Xin Qi reacts by taking on the role of the boy’s father - much to the child’s delight. But will this lead them back down the path to romance? Or has their love ship already sailed?

4) Ms. Thang had a nerve to call the little boy rude! Bish please! This is not even your child or a relative to be putting your hands on him since he and you never met before. Did someone not tell you that the color "Jealousy" was not a good color on anyone? In addition, go "Reflect On Yourself"! 💁

Yes and the fact that Min Hui brought him formally attired as everybody else means she is proud of him and that she is confident in her son's ability to conduct himself properly in this kind of environment.
Lin Xiyue is truly an awful loser of a woman. The fact that she cannot beat Min Hui fair and square, makes her do a malicious public slander, involving an innocent child, as if it is her business to humiliate Min Hui publicly, in the presence of so many professionals. In the meantime, the background comments make it more disturbing, as if Min Hui needs to explain to anyone about her child's upbringing. Thank goodness for Xin Qi stepping forward to clear the air. Lin Xiyue got what she deserved. She is acting like a decent person, when in fact, she is a mistress.
You will notice how Min Hui covered her son's ears, so he cannot hear what is being said about him. His birth is no one's business.
She feels inferior compared to Min Hue, who managed to achieve more than her and live a relatively happy life while she's mistress of her boss and hardly ever on the top of his list. In fact, actions of her lover (he belittles her every now and then) make her even more insecure and thus angry and vengeful.
Comments of some of the people in that room make me sick, upset that they failed to win her affection they start scolding her as soon as the supposed illegitimacy of Min Hue's baby boy was mentioned.
