Excellent - worked fine for KM130R. One problem - in my case the reason for the clutch failing was the pivot pins had rusted to the clutch weights, so they came out with the clutch and were a b***** to shift. I also didn't reseat the end of the throttle cable sleeve properly so it screamed when it fired up - soon sorted...
Not sure if u get on here. But I’ve got a stihl and the engine runs great, the head turns slowly while running but when I engage throttle and engine revs, head just stays turning the same slow speed. I took it apart and nothing looking damaged or worn out. Any suggestions????
A lot of the commented problems on this video, simply come down to the setting on your carb.. NOW, (for ease of mind trying to figure out what setting is what, and when to imply them.) you can get a shop to do it for you maybe, or, generally a new one won't need to be adjusted. Or if you think you can figure it out, there are a few detailed step-by-step instructions on the web. If you can figure it out, it's worth the knowledge of the skill, and can generally do it on site (if need be).
Was wondering if you could help with a fs100rx it’s hard to start but when you get it started and pull the throttle it dies. I replaced carb, fuel lines, valve adjustment, made sure coil was correct and even new spark plug still doing the same thing before all of this any ideas?
my aluminum engine pan broke part 4180 021 2500 on my fs90 weed eater. it cost 50.00 plus labor to replace. can i use 10 inch steel gasket cables to secure motor to trimmer and save lots of cash. thanks sam

try cleaning the spark arrestor which is screwed into the muffler--have to remove arrestor and clean carbon buildup on arrestor mesh

The clutch keep the engine running that part that you see here changed

How do u know if the old one is bad,mine is deference it wo t spens when trimmer is running

clutch replacement is a breeze - clutch drum replacement, that is where the shit is. especialy if the driverod is welded to the drum.
