I havent played warrior yet but it looks very very weak compared to rogue or mage. At this point of the campaign both others 2 shot every mob. Mage for example hits for cap every 1.5 seconds in a screen wide aoe
@@1234cid4321 Builds like these are mostly for class fantasy and overall fun. Hitting enemies with big 2 handed chonky weapons just feels good! Making the build nightmare viable is the goal while still being super fun.
Glad the algorithm brought me here! Love the build. So glad you incorporated companion abilities in your build. You are the only one I’ve seen do that so far. Keep it up. Subbed!!!
On my 3rd playthrough and had a lot of trouble finding a good warrior build that was also fun. This took a bit to come online, but really liked it once it did. I also was worried about Cleaving Strike, but got sold on it during the Hossberg Champion fight. It was so nice to be out of range of his PBAOE and still be able to hit him! Looking forward to see how it progresses.
This looks like way too much fun. I'm finishing up my rogue playthrough after my mage playthrough. Both builds had infinite ability use, so I was basically unkillable since I suck at dodging. This one looks like it will fit the bill as well and am looking forward to smashing stuff into the ground!
I don't believe that's how the "Charged Smash" upgrade works, cause "Charged" isn't an ability type, it's just referring to the fact that it gives Smash abilities all the same bonuses your Charged attacks get. If it doesn't give Precision anymore then that's a bug, 100%, it should be getting benefits from both upgrades as those features are specifically meant to buff the main ability of the specialization. Regardless, trying this build next! So far my favorite build has been Duelist Rogue but I did find I was using charged attacks a fair amount just cause of how annoying it is to have your normal attacks bouncing off of any dude with a block anywhere in your vicinity, and this build looks likes it specifically shits on those assholes and I'm excited for that lol
Another good build! I took a different approach bc I wanted to incorporate whirlwind… It revolves around Bellara’s grouping ability, the aoe rune active that applies weakness (crit condition for whirlwind), whirlwind, detonate, follow up with charged attacks while resetting cooldowns with Harding. My build too excels at mobs but lacks against bosses.
Excellent build as always. I've been looking for a build to utilize Bellara and Emrich... unfortunately, I'm playing rogue this playthrough. Do you think there's a potential rogue build to utilize these two over the Harding/Lucanis combo?
If you try hard enough with your theory crafting I feel you can make almost anything work. It just takes a lot of trial and error until the light bulb clicks.
I'm missing the last upgrade for researchers coat. I cannot find anything online where it could be. Can you remember where you found each upgrade? I've already gotten the chest in blackthorne manor, the mourne watch rank 4 shop, the black market... and i can't remember where i got it originally
Beyond what you have mentioned, I do not recall. Still some unknown variables with item drops since some people say they get different items from suggested methods on some guides. Probably one of the frustrating parts of the game is missing items. 🥲
@ImJustAnthonyTube yeah i really don't like the reality increase system. Not sure how that made it through QA. Good news is i like most of the rest of the game enough to overlook it. But i would really like to be able to choose what I upgrade lol
This build has been awesome because even towards the end game I'm not just ability spamming. Charge attacks are king! I do like the flashy rogue playstyle. This build is chonky which is perfect because we are using 2 handers. I think both are fulfilling their intended class fantasy.
Any ability you take on the skill tree gives you a passive +15% ability power to your character. They don't want you to feel like a point was wasted. I did not learn this until my second playthrough. It says it when you check the additional information for any ability and somehow I still overlooked it. 🥲
No favorites! Every class and every build so far that I've published has been a ton of fun. I do scrap some build/playthroughs when the build isn't fun. 😄
You can start using the 2 handed damage and practice once you have your time stop companions leveled a couple times so you can have all the talents unlocked for them. The build really shines after you have many of the slayer perks at 30.
@@ImJustAnthonyTube I dig this build, however, it seems to require more strategizing and thinking than the Nightmare Ultimate Rogue Build and I have gotten used to how user friendly the latter build is. This build will be next. A humble suggestion since the NURB is one of your most popular DAV builds a specific skill progression video guide similar to the one featured in your new 2H build would be welcome (and perhaps where and when to acquire needed equipment). Also is an even easier build for "dummies" a nightmare possiblity? I'm a bloke who listens to podcasts and books on audible while playing DAV.
I hope I was able to express how fun this build was! Let me know what you guys think. 😋

Its a fun build keen to try. Thanks for this!
You made the video thanks man I appreciate it
It was my pleasure! This was a fun playstyle for warrior. 😄
Just trying this build now. I’m Level 35. Looks good to play 👍🏼

I think I got my first drop first for it around Gaspin Manor in Hossberg
@@grayden4138 ohhh.... I'll go look there tonight to see if I missed it. Was it a chest or a drop?
Any chance you could put together a dual-element evoker? I was thinking lightning and cold, but could be convinced into necrotic and cold...
Will toss it in the theory bin!
Just make a projectile build. Chain Lightning, Arcane Shot and Entropic Sphere.
have you trried spellblade? built properly feels like an elementalist. spamming fire, lightning, ice abilities until the screen is clear
How does it feel in comparison to melee rogue?

Is there a reason to take the abilities when you're not using them???
Boost ability damage overall

Oh you Devil Dog you, no you didn't!
Maaaaaybe I did!!
