ADRENALINE FUELED NIGHTMARE ROGUE! Who needs tanks, mages, or healers when you can have a full throttle rogue team. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer if the community doesn't beat me to it. Who else is ready for Path of Exile 2?!
I would say the most fun I had was with the mage. You strip away the abilities from all the classes and the orb and blade combat style of the mage is the most fun. Tossing out AOE elemental orbs to stack a magic bomb on targets then using your blade to detonate those bombs is satisfying especially when you acquire the talent that lets you throw your blade to detonate the bombs. OVERALL, every class if fun and they designed each class very well. It makes playing the game at least 3 times worth just to try all classes. Most guides don't cover the basic combat system for each class with weapon combos ( light/heavy attacks and charged light/heavy attacks plus agile attacks) which is a big part of the early to mid game since you don't have ability spam like most end game guides show. Survival early is your own skill and the mage feels the best for me personally.
Thank you for your incredibly well planned builds! I am older now and I usually play on story mode, which I did my first play through of DAV, but my second I used your mage build(Antivan Crow faction) on Adventurer because the combat in this game is surprisingly fun, and now I'm using this rogue build (Mourn Watch faction) on Underdog. This game keeps on giving and so do your builds!!
You explain these builds better than any other I've seen. Stacks, afflictions etc was bending my brain, hence I came looking for some knowledge and you educated me. I typically do not subscribe to gaming channels but ah... You deserve it and it'll be easier for me to find you when i need more knowledge. Cheers and thank you!

While leveling, i honestly think pilfer is the best rogue skill and most versatile. The fact that it triggers any of your belt effects means you can mess around with a bunch of the belts instead of just throwing a good belt on and leaving it. Not sure how much damage it does late game, but im currently leveling my rogue, and pilfer+bees does a bunch of damage.
EXACTLY! My first 2 guides I talk about Tincture Kit being the best belt because massive healing and revive which is true for those builds. Pilfer on rogue changes that because you get constant potion effects without actually using your potions. I also used the BEES unique belt early when I was bleed stacking and I agree that the bleed+bees was so much damage! Glad I'm not the only one who did this while leveling. The AOE bleeding belt was my preferred belt for most the game. Thanks for watching!
When would you say you should switch over to using Explosive daggers? When you have a certain legendary item? When you can reach x skills at once? At level 40 or 45?
You can replace Static Strike as soon as you get Explosive Daggers but that won't be until later like you mention. Don't use or take the Quiver shot ability until after you finish your legendary helm because you need that full bar of energy reset on ultimate to sustain ability spamming.
I think the game does some kind of lock-on with the daggers so trying to move your mouse while casting it may cause that problem. The game says how dare you try to look away from my explosions!
Awesome! This build was fun from start to finish. I hope you enjoy your fast ultimate recharges in the early and mid game to constantly throw bombs everywhere! So satisfying until you are ready to transition to all projectiles in the late game.
Amazing! I was going to do Damtics CRIT BOOM Saboteur next but i think you stole me heart with this one 😅. Do you think you can do a staff focused build?
Glad you like my build! I am currently debating on working on some extra builds for each class on my free time. You are not the first person to ask for a staff build so I may look at some ideas and I will post a guide if I can create a crazy build. No mediocre builds here! We want that juice!
Hi @ImJustAnthonyTube, do you remember where did you get yout 5 Magister's Bargain? Mine is purple, I am missing one, but don't know where. Thank you for the amazing build!
Unfortunately I do not remember all the locations. I wrote out an entire response and then realized it was for a different neck. Maybe some community members can assist with this one.
Really enjoying this build. After my first build as a Death Mage, I'm enjoying the up close and personal playstyle. Question about gear: does it make sense to use the Toothpick until you get the Seafarer's Cutlass, or does it make sense to switch to something with more damage in the mid-game?
Glad you like the build! I chose to use the Toothpick for the majority of the playthrough for the big bleed stacks. Our ultimate resets happen so much and later your necrotic weapons buff help your melee output more. Overall everything died to our abilities and ultimate so much that we just don't have high uptime on melee attacking. I will admit that it does feel bad when you face a bleed immune target and it just ends up being a long boring fight until you poke them down. You can switch weapons if you already know a boss or champion style enemy will be immune.
@@ImJustAnthonyTube Thanks - I remember fighting Darkspawn with my necro build was such a pain for the same reason. On that build, I used Andraste's Will to convert all afflictions to Burning, so I wonder if that would work with this build as well? Still early (just hit 12) so got a ways to go before the good stuff (although you're right about Harding resetting stuff like crazy).
Fun is what I aim for! Currently working on more builds since community interest is high. I might replay warrior again since I beat the game on warrior first but it was Underdog difficulty and the build wasn't nearly as good as my mage and rogue on Nightmare. Probably plan to see a new warrior guide!
@@ImJustAnthonyTube I'm trying to build a smash warrior because I really like kicking the mobs. And I hate cooldowns, so I want it mostly spamming the abilities. A lot of rage gen + smash damage.
I really like afflictions and Nightmare has enemies a little more tanky so affliction stacking helps take them down. Extra potions are always nice as well. Taking the extra affliction stack on this rogue build would give you 11 bleed stacks early in the game! ( 3 standard, 6 from unique sword, 1 from skill tree by Pilfir, and 1 from Faction.)
I believe that being able to use the crit ability spam that stacks all afflictions and with an ultimate that does constant DPS separate from our own DPS really elevates this build to the top. Play style and personal preference will dictate the best build for each player. I had the required Helmet to legendary and the required unique belt before I was level 50 and I also think this elevates the build because you don't need the special upgrade shop at the end game before the final boss. I was able to massacre the LvL 50 Blight Dragon in Crossroads at LvL 48 without him hitting me a single time and very fast kill. Probably my highest performing build out of the three I made. (Whisper "Spellblade was still my most fun to play")
@ interesting!! Appreciate the additional context too! Be great to see you experiment with reaper shield throw build too, I heard that can hit some crazy numbers - from each bounce too! I’ll try this out on my rogue first though, definitely love the playstyle.
Dang, I don't have exact locations but @haplyxtash5494 posted some of the known locations. I remember getting the final upgrade during a companion ending quest. It is so crazy how many items get thrown at you during companion quests, a lot of which you can't go back and get once missed.
Dumbasses on The Internet: "hurr durr the enemies are sponges" You: "watch me kill the final boss before he even finishes monologuing" It's incredible how much "skill issue" applies to most complaints about the game's combat.
It's unfortunate some people don't want to better themselves so only complaints happen. The base combat system without abilities for each class is already fun when you master it. Add abilities and skill tree, game elevated to be even more fun and see if your mad scientist brain can make a monster or a dumpster fire. I'm not immune to dumpster fire builds sometimes! Haha
Chose the faction that gives slightly faster resource regen. I would suggest Mourn Watch because we are able to get so many afflictions applied and the early game helps with bleed stackings to 11.
I know this is a Nightmare guide but being a crow and choosing minrathous shouldnt be allowed!! :D I imagine you did it because Lucanis got hardened and it increases his dps but still I don't know if I can do that my poor Treviso

great build and pretty unique from what I've seen. What ended up being your favourite class amongst the three playthroughs you did and why?

This looks like a pretty sick build :). Does anyone else get strange mouse sensitivity changes when using exploding daggers though?

love this definately gonna try it been on the fence playing a rogue definately gonna try this when they fix the unique chest/statue dagger bug
