I'm ETH in but I can see the logic behind firing him. Results and performances are so poor we could miss out on European football altogether. If the board believes a clearout will take multiple seasons, as is expected, then are they confident enough that ETH can win favour with enough of the dressing room to not only turn it around immediately but also turn it around enough to get anything out of the squad for next season?

Ten Hag was gone as soon as new owners of any kind came in. Instead of doing something himself, he looks resigned to just go along with it and get paid off. He isn't even picking or dropping obvious players. The manager is getting the usual fallguy job to protect the same players, and it happened even faster this time. The idea of Southgate makes me physically sick, he has high quality players at England who were trained by Pep and Klopp. At United he would collapse under the pressure and be gone within a year or United will collapse and finish mid table at best. Lets not forget he got Middlesbrough relegated as his only managerial club role.

Don't agree with mark's opinion on garnacho's removal, Garnacho had a very bad game even more than Rashford, and Rashford had a terrible game. I understand Ten Haag taking him off, he's quite young and teachable when compared to Rashford and Bruno. I'm certain that Garnacho's performance will be very good come our next match, no use for ego in a young lad, also noticed that Mainoo has dropped some levels, he still plays him cos he doesn't have alternatives, just hope the lad doesn't burnout. He doesn't give Amrabat the time of the day cos he always has a mistake in him and worst is that he doesn't pick himself up afterwards, Fred used to make terrible mistakes but he never loses heart.

The reason ETH must be fired is that his lineup and sub selections are abysmal. He also has no control of what the players are doing on the pitch. Zero discipline out there. They all run around in abstract positions. No form of play. No method. He might be a good manager but we’ll never find out with the set of established players we have. Note if you get rid of Rashford, Bruno, McTominay, Maguire, Casemiro, Martial, etc, then keep the manager. But that isn’t going to happen. So get rid of the whole lot.
