Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
• Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed. He is the absolute god in Russian music (he is russian and ukrainian BTW 😢), think of him as a bigger equivalent of David Foster.
• This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”. She was already a star in Russia before meeting Igor (her french hit Je t’aime is a classic even in Russia) but she became massive there thru her collaboration with Igor.
• This also explains why the song does not expose more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton.
• Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
• Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
• It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, …): look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
• Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
• Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
• Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
• I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.
• Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash (Igor composed the music of this song of course)
As others have informed you here, the piano player is Igor Krutoy, a famous composer. If you see him at the piano, that means he composed the song. I'm sure I'll miss some here, but these are some of Dimash's songs that were composed by Igor: Stranger, Olympico, Ave Maria, Passione, I Miss You, Your Love, Love of Tired Swans, Know, and Love is Like a Dream. Some of the songs were composed specifically for Dimash, some were previous Igor compositions that Dimash adapted. All are beautiful!

Dimash did another duett with Aida "Ulisse" at the same event. It's also very beautiful. As you might know Lara is Dimash's idol, so this evening was a dream come true for him.

Igor Krutoy is on the piano. The Russian Billionaire Music Mogul, who wrote this song. Whenever you see him with Dimash (or Lara, or Aida), he wrote the song. He wrote all the songs in this amazing concert, which was full of the greatest singers who he’s worked with over the years. This was Igor’s 65th Birthday concert in Russia in November 2019. This was a celebration of billionaire maestro, Igor Krutoy’s 65th birthday. Igor has created many on Dimash’s songs ie: Stranger, Ave Maria, and Olympics. Lara was sick but still managed to be fabulous. Andrea Bocelli was also there to sing for Igor.

Wonderful trio. I always have to smile as Dimash adores Lara. Lara has been Dimashs' idol for years. And they are singing in Italian.
This was a performance on the occasion of an anniversary of the composer Igor Krutoy in 2020. Aida Garifullina is a soprano from Russia, but as far as I know she also has Austrian citizenship since 2017.
The guy on the piano is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He also wrote this beautiful song.

A masterful performance by all three singers. And after reading @ericscard910's comment, wow, it must be nice to be Igor Krutoy to plan such an extravagant birthday celebration for himself. What a blessing to the world are all four of these hard working and talented people. And to be alive at the same time as they are so we can enjoy their talents first-hand? So grateful for this and them and you, for sharing it with us.
I actually liked this song much more than I thought I would. Sometimes when singers come together for a song, they move so far away from what their normal sound is that, to me, it takes away from the performance. This was nothing like that. It was so enjoyable!
I would like to recommend to you a new group you have not listened to before. They are “Forestella”. Composed of 2 opera singers, one pop/rock singer and one musical actor/singer, they were the winners of the 2017 Phantom Singer competition and have since won the “Immortal songs” competition 5 years in a row. They interpret a lot of the 70s-80s songs in a beautiful mix of harmonies. Here are a few suggestions; not sure about the copyright rules on them, but many reactors seem to have no problem. “Time in a bottle”, “Scarborough Fair”, “Je suis malade” ( yes, the Lara Fabian one, incredible!), “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Champions”, “Hijo de la Luna”, “Angels”, and the list goes on. I hope you give them a try!

Let me tell you that Lara was sick that week, the night before she told to Igor (The Master and her friend since 2005) that she would probably have to take a shot of morphine to get heal faster from pain and a strong sore troat. Dimash was present in that moment she told Igor, there's a vídeo of it... Then, Lara really took a shot of morphine minutes before that performance, she also performed more 4 songs at that concert, even though she was feeling very sick. Thank you for another reaction. 😊 Hugs.

Just go back and watch that ending again, because you missed something by having your eyes shut! The end note was so sustained that the conductor couldn't quite believe it. The expressions on his face and on Igor's at the piano were priceless.
The conductor, by continuing to hold his hand up, was instructing the singers to hold the note. It looked like he was timing their final note with the moment all the skaters arrived at their places.

I don't know if you know but this moment is very important and magical for Dimash because Lara Fabian is his idol, I think you must have seen that he covers her songs a lot and so singing with her was really a very special moment for him, we can see the chemistry between them when they sing and the admiration in Dimash's eyes.
