What a genuinely good and kind human being, I love the level of empathy that this chef has. You can also tell how passionate he is about his work and his wish to share his delicious foods with Muslims is honestly very admirable. As a Muslim who loves Japan, I hope to travel there someday InshaAllah and this restaurant is definitely a place I would like to visit. just realized how lucky i was because i tried the restaurant in 2014. I didn't know that they obtained the halal cert. in 2014. extremely nice staff. the owner lady came to see me at the end of the dinner and talked to me about the restaurant and some Japanese tradition. I am hijabi girl and went there by myself

Wow his restaurant went the full gamut. Halal utensils means following the Syafie Madhab which is similar to requirements in south east Asia. Also silk road covers China and lots of Central Asia country so he probably met with Ugyhurs and Turks and the former soviet countries.

As a Muslim who one day plans to visit Japan it’s great to know that there are authentic Japanese restaurants that serve halal food. I want to taste authentic Japanese food and was always concerned wether I’d be able to find any restaurants that are halal certified. Many countries need to encourage this as it will attract more Muslim tourists.
This is what the muslims always want when go to travel abroad, to taste the original taste of local cuisines but with halal ingredients.

Nowadays sometimes is really hard to find truly halal place to eat, the owner(Muslim brothers) they have halal certificate in their restaurants, BUT somehow serving alcohol and using ingredients in their food which contain not halal gelatin, very sad..
