This brought back so many memories from my matric year in 2014, when I did a prepared speech for Afrikaans on the Waterkloof 4. My father (may his soul continue to rest peacefully) actually read about it and he suggested that I use this case for my speech. Our aim was to bring attention and shed light, mainly to privileged people and how they can get away with almost everything and in this instance - also to the brutality and senseless killing of that homeless man, and to this day I truly hope and still continue to pray that one day, my dream of a better South Africa will realize. 😩🤲

You can tell by the names. Most Black SA have tribal names. Whereas most White SA have Dutch or English names. Same with the the Coloureds they mostly have Dutch names as well.
