I had never seen these and tried them at a Target display and was blown away! I ordered a pair with a pair of transition prescriptions. I thought they sounded fantastic. Not needing Earbuds for the gym would be amazing!

Bose are a menace with Bone Conduction, i would love to try these at a Bose store, but the AR feature on them would be something that has to be perfected, so you can have holographic interface in a Rondo or Alta space.
AR music player would be interesting methinks.
I have these and learned some things I didn’t know from your review. I’d like to add that they’re great for when you may have long, wet hair. I wear these instead of my normal Versace shades and over the ear headphones on hair wash days. I cover the arms that my hair touches with eyeglass sleeves. It makes the sound not as great but allows listening with wet hair. I also use these when wearing a sun visor. Basically in any situation where over-the-head headphones 🎧 won’t work. Oh, and expect to get stared at when talking on a call. No one knows you’re on a call with nothing in your ear 😆

Just saw them and tried them on I like them hope they could put a rx on ide definitely get them with my prescription
if they did a partnership with a sunglass company like Oakley or RayBan, i think these could actually work, but for now, these seem more like a novelty by looking at the design, it looks like cheap dollar store sunglasses to the average person.

Oakley has done this so many times. Yes this is a long range acoustic system.. and not ear pods attached to arms... but the real breakthrough would be the augmented reality being super rich. The acoustic delivery could be slimmer, twin driver, and Bluetooth antenna could offer far more gain. I just see enough left in this to say it looks prototype and needs work.

What is the point of this product? It seems like someone in Bose dared the other one to do it and as a result they made sunglasses.
Unneccessary so far. Noone sees you're not listening though :-/ To less battery, at least to long loading time. Also there needs to be more options of customization which is the thing these days. Get something personal. Make it possible to change the glass, alloverprint the frame, colors...
Although the shapes fit just fine for the start, would it be possible to do a pilot style as well?
No Rx? No polarization? Disqualifiers for many, especially those who are on the water a lot! Missed opportunities, Bose...!

So STUPID that you vote Warranty if you put your own lenses in. That is enough to turn me off from buying them.

It has to be sunny outside, charged, and you have to not want to listen to excellent quality music all at once. Seems like a very niche product that won't shake up anything. Also, why integrate sound into sunglasses? It's already pretty convenient and socially acceptable to wear headphones that have hearthrough mechanisms like jabras and you can wear whatever you want as far as glasses
