My only regret was I was running late to meet someone and didn’t stick around for more than maybe 2 minutes, because I found out later he was Josh Bell, one of the most famous violinists in the world. Sometimes we really should stop and listen to the music in our lives.

Believe it or not, not many people actually want to stand in the middle of a costco isle to listen to someone play. The people who stopped to listen clearly had time to spare, and those who passed by either didn’t or just did not care. It’s that simple, really. @@samhyde2339 it really shouldn’t be difficult to understand my point. There are people who appreciate and notice beautiful things like music, art, nature, friendship, etc. and there are many who really are oblivious to some degree as they pursue mundane chores.

youll most likely exceed this level as long as you keep up your practice (and practice well, little tip from me dont do your scales and other exercises like a robot. try to make them as musical as you would any piece. in the real world you wont ever need to play like a robot, and practicing like one will only hurt your playing.)
