Downpatrick Santa Trains - 22nd December

The final day of the 2013 "Lapland Express" trains on the Downpatrick and County Down Railway, 22nd December, saw a brilliantly sunny yet bitterly cold day. And the crowds kept coming, I've never seen the place so busy!
This video shows a trip from Downpatrick to Inch Abbey, filmed with mini cameras mounted on the locomotive. There are some lineside shots at Downpatrick too, and a glimpse of the Loop Platform, and a look at the run round at Downpatrick from unusual angles too.
Sound isn't perfect on board, I didn't have time to mount audio recording equipment too, so it's from the GoPro on-board sound.

Having the 3 Go-Pro's on the Loco made this video quite different from what we normally see....this is great Mike. The trains looked pretty busy too....best wishes...Steve.

Thanks Steve. I just wish I'd thought to record sound. The cold must've got to me, I just hid in the station most of the afternoon.

Fantastic shots, now you just need to do them with the RPSI trains.
