He’s so hard not to love. His voice his humbleness is just so pure!!! I literally love his music and voice. Hunter is a true talent.
He is so talented and he doesn't even realize how good he is, both as a human being and as a singer.

Felt so bad for him, I know he gets so down on himself. He's such an amazing singer and that was an incredible performance. He messed up a tiny bit, and picked the song right back up. Easily for me his best performance this season!

His song The River took me by surprise. I originally just watched for Mary Jo, then stopped watching, but once I heard his song, I started listening to his other American Idol songs. I truly love his voice!

He's a real inspiration to all of us. We all know the story of how he's feeling down at d start of d competition knowing that evryone's talented and being haunted by d thought that we can never be better and gets left behind..that going through a lot of things while struggling gives us an idea to just give up. Man! He's an amazing singer and story teller that lets you ride and be one w/ his emotion. Few artists can do that nowadays..the purity, legit humbleness, vulnerability, etc. I'm running out of words..u know what I mean.

Once is one of my favourite movies and Falling Slowly is one of my favourite songs. This performance was a rollercoaster of emotions for me...
His voice and delivery was spot on amazing! It did not matter about any mistakes this was a captivating performance. He was all in and the emotions made it better. His beautiful heart got wrapped up in the song and we were just along for the ride.

Huh? A tortured soul? Quite the opposite. He’s so connected to himself and god that he allows his emotions to flow. That’s how we are all meant to be but society teaches us from childhood that emotions are “bad” and crying is often held in.

The great Shirley MacLaine said in an interview once that early in her career she had to go onstage as an understudy and made tons of mistakes. The crowd LOVED her and she learned early that people really do relate to and connect with performers unafraid to make a mistake. I personally really am grateful for and needed emotional ride he took us on here. I hope he is not beating himself up over it.
