Well said, mate! Tanner is way too hard on himself, and that negativity won't help with the sponsors, or fans. Finishing 2nd, after being 7th and about half a lap behind behind the leader at the end of the first lap, is a great comeback and something to proud of.
Great job coming back to take 2nd. It could have definitely been worse. I watched a 360 Sprint and 360 Limited last night, and one guy had a really bad crash that took out a section of the wall at Grays Harbor Raceway. They had to pause the race while they re-welded the wall back together. The guy hit hard enough to warp the frame and throw a wheel while he was flipping. It was good to see him walk away from it, albeit fairly shaken. Also had a Sprint throw the rubber of a tire over the billboards on turn 2. Thankfully nobody was on that side, and it was probably the best place it could have gone because if it had happened on turn 3 it would have gone into the pits, and turn 4 would have sent it into the stands.
The Grove is where ive watched the majority of my sprintcar races. Sure do miss the Grove , now im in Santa Cruz and the closest track is Ocean speedway
To grab quick time on your qualifying run and ending up 2nd quick in your flight I would say is pretty good for having a car that felt a little off on a track that looked different from what it usually does. Then to go into the main drop two spots and fight your way back to 2nd ain't a bad night or at least not in my eyes. Anyways I hope that the next night went better. For those of us that love watching you race. Just one suggestion. Tell us also where the track is located. I love to watch sprints but have no clue where most any tracks are located. Great job also!!!
Tanner, you need to be more positive as it’s going to affect all those around you. Positivity brings out the best in people. You are doing something so many of your fans would love to be doing and that last race tonight was the best run of the night. The car was improved and it gave you a chance to get in the medals, which you did. Well done. But with that you could have come back to the trailer glowing about how well your team had done in setting up a great car for the 30 lapper. Negativity is the worst thing in a team Tanner and you are the main person that can stop that. You’ve even got Carly saying ‘first loser’ and looking dejected? And she is the backbone of your team. Come on Tanner, you came second in a good field of cars and the car ran superbly after the changes they made. Save the first loser attitude until you are a multiple champion in 360 & 410’s or it’s going to hold you back.Let’s learn from this and carry this good result on to the next race. Well done the TH Team!!!

Good show, forward bite, if there had been another 5, it may have been yours. Wheelin through traffic also is where you build that road wisdom. Not always about conquering the hill, it's about how the individual and what they come away with of said hill. It is good to sometimes question our motives, actions yet to actually become inherently more focused, streamline intent as though it was a lighthouse on the horizon.

2 questions...1st why on the restart on lap 23 you were in 3rd but there was 4 or 5 cars between u and the leader...do they leave the lapped cars In between you guys? If so you rarely ever see that...2nd why is it always 6:30 when you do videos lol
Cottage Grove restarts lap cars in their position between the leaders at the yellow... Kind of a weird rule, but the logic is "the leader had to work to get past them, so should 2nd place." Tends to be a pretty divisive rule, and people will often complain about it until they are the one leading, then suddenly they are fine with it. Also, that happens to cheap clocks in haulers a lot. Thousands of miles bouncing down the highway will do that.
