Ah....the fickle finger of fate! But I liked the way you drove thru traffic from the restart 19th to 13th. And last week you were the hard charger at Antioc. Keep up the good work!
Tanner i will say from what u and ur family are doing as a family team ur head and shoulders doing great. I know tony stewart. larson. Brad sweet. All had days like this growing and learning. One thing is u see that is diff is like i said ur doing it with a family team with family budget. So u know if u wreck a car or two its not good. So ur trying to do the absolute best u can but still have all that in back of ur mind. Trust me look how u did when u were in the 1t shark car. U could show up top equipment yrs of notes at the tracks. Dont beat urself up man. Ur learning still. Im telling ya man drive it like u stole it.
It's a learning experience, you had a top 5 car for sure. Make sure you're moving forward and stay out of your own head, you know what to do to correct, thanks for sharing it all! Onward!
When your frustrated in the car you'll never win ,take this race as a learning curve an then you can call this race as a win cause someday there will be a very special race an this night will put you in the winner circle, every time your in the pits wherever you are show calmness , you will be a great driver ,to go fast you sometimes need to slow down ,my name is Brent silcox I crewchief for drivers like gary dunkle who ran second in the 1976 nationals an dan oswalt the sonic car D1 ,like to visit with you sometime in person ,sincerely your doing good . Takes time
You laid it on"em in the heat, shows you're a quick study from the previous week...nice to talk with you ,get a pic and a new hoody...your a great young man Tanner, keep your chin up
Everyone makes mistakes tanner it was good to see u make some good passes! Push on fella things will get better keep working at it. And the trailer clock battery next video plz! Let mum know and shel sort it. Respect from Christchurch NewZealand
Yeah, I just suckd that you lost it on the first lap. I'm pretty sure you would've been top 3. You made a hard charge to the end. Taking it home in one piece.
Sometimes ur the windshield, sometimes ur the bug. Chin up young man, no one is harder on you than you are. On to the next one, and win that one in going away style!
Re-watching after last nights high limit race 8/15/24 I wonder if your car was a little tight on RR causing you turned in more and weight went RF and biked up. Or you turned in to soon and piniched car. You only lose if you dont learn the lesson
Agreed, but in Tanners case it keeps happening. Mistake after mistake. Remember the High Limit race in Texas a few weeks ago where he was doing well in his heat race, did the exact spin from the bottom and took out Justin Peck?
Mistake after mistake after mistake. Tanner's first full year in sprints was 2018. He has what 4 1/2 to 5 full years under his belt depending how ya count covid. At some point he has to stop making these rookie type mistakes. How many decades does the racing adage "ya can't win the race on the 1st lap but you can lose it on the 1st lap" go back? I've heard it the 65 yers I've been around this sport. Come on Tanner, get your act together and be the driver you can be. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS. There are no more excuses for last Saturday at Tulare. BTW, there's no such thing as the bottom in 3 n 4 at Tulare. If you wanna win there, you better get up on the top in 3 n 4.
Don’t get down on yourself keep on pushing.
i flew from CO to take in ocean ans tulare. sorry your day didnt go well, but cool to see you run on the west coast
It’s racing you’ve come along way over the years even the best make mistakes from time to time live to fight another day keep it rolling
hang in there Tanner. you time will come.

I have been noticing for awhile that you really seem to lose speed going into a corner, but you come off the corner like a rocket. Decent night

Dude, no shame in your game! Keep at it because you are figuring this all out. We love the journey you and your family are on.

Been there. Done that. It happens. Nice come back. On to the next one!
Good ol swing weight. That extra 50+ pounds over the rear end. Then hitting cold brakes.
It's time to start driving your car like you stole it you're way too cautious.
With the way prices of parts now days I don’t blame him they are a family team it gets expensive
Have you not seen how much has been torn up so far this year? They need some stable runs with no damage.
@mikecaskey357 he's racing about a 70k car. I'd drive it cautious too
Lesson learnt, get them next time
Congrats on over 75k subscibers.
Excellent video
PERFECTION. It takes perfection while letting it all hang out.
Thanks for the merch before the night
are you struggling with grip on the triple x with to much grip?

It has happened to us all!!!!!!!

Kiddo, better at Tulare than Skagit. Live and learn. On to the next one. 👍
Your girl friend needs a Tanner Holmes tee shirt
You gotta quit with the brain farts and drive your plan. Aggressive always.
Hey tanner why don’t you run with the world of outlaws at Sharon Speedway
Pretty long haul all the way across the country just for one race, he's in Tulare on 9/21 and Hanford on 10/5
Tell ur sister to start making her u tube videos on what her race nites while u crew for ur Brother.
What happened?? Hmm.. Pops would say that you stepped on your deck kid!!
It will all come together when you least expect it to!¡!
More excuses, still try to talk yourself into a win. That won’t work you have to be aggressive.
👍🏻
🤔🫢👍ML33MI.
I say you got pushed
Say it all you want, he spun all on his own.
No he didn't he just looped it
I bet your girl friend was impressed
Bummer!!!’ First time I’ve seen you do that. Luckily you were out of the way. That could have been much worse and usually is. 🎁🤔👎👎🤷♂️
You should have let your girlfriend drive…..
Hiiiiiiiii
