Times before 'they' started to divide us, better times when we all mixed in soul clubs for the love of the music and feeling like we belonged together, and we danced all night!

Just come across this and it makes me smile, I’ve been a ballroom dancer all my life and when was about 16 I got into northern soul, no strict tempo just freedom on the dance floor and fond memories forever. still teach ballroom at the age of 65 but keeping young and foolish, most of all Happy. A song to lift anyone's spirit , especially if your going through hard difficult times , even many setbacks in. Life try to stay positive , look for the sunshine after the rain clear skies after the clouds. Light in darkness , look at the shadows and see they are but illusions , feel once again not in your hearts. , remember happy days , like on the beach , or special birthday when younger find that inner smile once again. Love yourself let love once again find you , especially when your not looking , love and joy through good and bad negative experiences, life is all a learning curve , with infinate possibilities. And potential.try to be positive. , remember you are never alone , your happy memories cannot be taken from you , god bless all , be young no matter what age you are , yes be happy , see Positives , feel them , no matter the condition you have experience 🙏.

A matter for consideration and contemplation:
I live in a war zone since October 7, 2023 masacre.
I am happy to wake up.
I am happy I am alive.
I am grateful I live in these turbolents waves.

      riding on the wave

I grew up and came of age in the 50's, 60's, 70's. Ah, the 'gold' of living in that era, highlighted in great songs like this. I feel so blessed, like so many others who experienced life then. Yes, there were crazy times, like always, but my heart stayed 'light', due so much to the great music of the times. Kids today just don't know what they missed. 'Be young, be foolish........'

Instead of enjoying life they're too busy listening to one sided politics at school, for Christs sake (and yer own) get out there and enjoy life before it's too late you won't get a replay.

We need to reclaim the essence of living more in the body & less in the mind - there was breath & spirit in these days!❤

Talking about re-incarnation, I think that I deliberately chose to start my next life in the 1950s, after having concluded in another life what a crap world I experience in the 21st century...

Be young, be foolish, but be happy
Be young, be foolish, but be happy
Don't let the rain get you down, it's a waste of time
    A waste of time
Have your fun, live everyday in the bright sunshine
    The bright sunshine
Well, it's the same old story all over the world
Girl meets boy, and boy meets girl
So be young, be foolish, but be happy
Be young, be foolish, but be happy
Don't let love slip away, slip away
Live your life for today, for today
Life is too short to worry about unimportant things
    Unimportant things
Reach for the sky, touch your star, and then you find your dream
    Find your dream
'Cause dreamin' alone, it's a shame indeed
But if you got love that's all you need
So be young, be foolish, girl be happy
Be young, be foolish, girl stay happy
So be young, be foolish, girl be happy
Be young, be foolish, girl stay happy
So be young, be foolish, girl be happy
Be young, be foolish, girl stay happy

This was my theme song at university. I live where the Tams were based, Atlanta, Georgia U.S.A. The story I heard was that the band couldn't afford matching costumes, but could afford Tam O'Shanter caps, so that became their name and what they wore.
