Many times, unfortunately. It happened when I was buying a house, buying a luxury car, dining in a nice restaurant, buying furniture and many many more. I was even asked by my newly moved neighbor while I was staining my own newly replaced fence, how much did the home owner paid me to stain their fence because he wanted me to stain theirs too, LOL!

@@wildlifeisthewealthofnatur5457 Martha's husband wasn't obviously a racist. He opened a back door so that the couples could flee safely without hassles or making it more aggravated by putting oxygen to fire. Exactly! My grandmother used to say that once someone has expressed "displeasure" at your presence? NEVER let your shadow darken their doorstep again. NOT bcuz you're weak or passive. But because you know your own worth, and they've just announced to you & the world that they can not afford YOUR presence. It helped me put a lot of people & their issues into a whole other perspective & even had a few attempt to come scrambling back to re-friend me/explain the "obvious misunderstanding" (I understood them perfectly the first time.) But they'd already revealed who they were so nuh-uh.

Can't anyone be friendly and hospitable to this Afro-American couple?? The woman was scornful until her husband apologized for such remarks, all because of melanin color. It takes little to be courteous and sociable, a lot to be understanding and empathetic!!! Karl and Chloe will be upset about the pie being wasted and thrown away but accused of stealing the silverware before leaving the house was really the last straw!!! Martha's husband John is more understanding and stopped her calling the police, hopefully there will be resolutions and apologies!!! It will be too late then, when the truth comes to light!!! Plot twist, Chloe is a police Lieutenant!!! Nice one, Dramatizers!!!

Great video racism and Prejudice is never okay they shouldn't have entered the home considering how hostile they were and you can't simply "leave the neighborhood" once you buy a house you shouldn't buy property unless you intend to stay there for 10 years because once you buy a place you can get stuck there for a long time and I hope not all of their neighbors are racist cuz then they'll be living in an empty neighborhood but there could still be one or two of them so it's their responsibility to punish them or they will keep doing this to people who can't protect themselves

I moved into a 55+ community about 2 years ago and everything was great at first, everyone was welcoming and friendly untilll, the holiday season came around and they started talking about decorating our light poles for Christmas. Being Jewish, I just asked if I could decorate mine for Hanukkah, and at first people were nice about it and then the rumors started. Apparently being Jewish threw them off and if I have one tiny little weed in my garden beds I get a visit or letter from the HOA threatening me with fines, and possibly kicking me out of the HOA. I’m getting ready to call a lawyer for harassment and defamation of character because apparently they talk about me at the HOA meetings and they’re not nice about it. I’m even a Messianic Jew so I believe Jesus is my Savior, but they are so prejudice they’d rather gossip about me and harass me. It’s not only people of color who get discriminated against.

I don't think Martha's husband was a racist. He just showed them the back door. He tried to resolve it peacefully..he knew how arrogant his wife was and how prejudiced his wife was. I don't think he was wrong. Yes he should have fought it but maybe he didn't want so much hassles. That's my opinion. Chloe shouldn't leave her bag there

I really didn't like where after she called them out for being racist then turned around and judged the rest of the neighborhood before she even met them based off of that one interaction. Those people were awful, but that is one example, not the rule for that neighborhood.

This is such a simple story, but powerful in its message. The actor that played the wife played the role so stiffly, that she came off as mentally ill. Well, we discover what her mental illness was, she is a racist and the affliction seems to be terminal. And her husband seemed so rational, until he asked the new neighbors to move out of the neighborhood. The other surprise is that we find out Davina Reeves Ciara is the police lieutenant, not Don Allen. Then again, maybe he is the new district attorney. Who knows? The message is that you cannot judge a book by its cover and even I was surprised by this episode. Thank you DramatizeMe for another disturbingly entertaining episode, disturbing because of the portrayal of an extremely brittle and psychotically racist woman. It just dawned on me. Are you saying racism is a mental illness? You have me convinced after this story.
