Snowy Day at the Hawk Conservancy Trust with Sweeney Todd

Following heavy falls of snow, the Hawk Conservancy Trust was closed over the weekend of 18/19/20th January 2013. The snow left a blanket of white across the grounds. However, the life of the Trust has to continue; aviary roofs cleared of snow, birds have to be fed and exercised. One bird in particular, Sweeney Todd, the resident Snowy Owl, positively reveled in the conditions.

What a brilliant time Sweeney had. Just perfect! The centre looks so serene without the visitors. Well done to all the dedicated staff for keeping the birds happy and safe.
