Hey Splat, I just realized I've been watching your videos on and off for a few years now and your content inspired me to try out a bunch of cool, more or less obscure games. Thank you for all that and I wish you growth and success for the years to come.
I like the style of this game. It's funny that two good alchemy games came out recently (Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator) but you won't catch me complaining.
Can't believe I am just seeing this now. I really like this game! Any game that has a dog as a sidekick is a good game to me! I'll defo put this on my wish list. 👍
Literally as soon as you got through the first foggy screen transition, I paused and went to d/l the demo. I got to the hungry dog part, and after looking at the feeding trough and stuff, came back to your video and fast forwarded to when you got to the dog to figure out how to feed it, lol.
"I don't know what resting in the bed does currently..." Sitting on a bench allows you to recover HP quickly (consuming your Stamina). Resting in a bed allows you to fast-forward the clock (there's an achievement/hat for it). You can also feed creatures by equipping the food item in your hand and when you approach them there will be a button prompt for "Feed".
We need to head off this direction, with my dog's love and subjection, without a single thought of objection, having in mind possibility of detection of all kind of materials for keeping or rejection! Here you go Splat, love your videos and I'll keep an eye on this game, looks interesting. PS. I have a sensation that being able to play released version of the game would be a perfection!
I enjoy a good Arizona iced tea with ginseng and honey, And yes everyone should have a good fluffy dog, particularly large one, small ones are often displeasing.
I like the look of that game, the alchemical crafting is interesting too, I like the fact that it hints at curing the corruption as well as fighting it directly, curious about how it balances out through the game.
Looks quite interesting, both from concept and visually. I hope it get quite complex. Kinda that you can loose yourself in and spend endless hours just immerse into the world
As someone who is hard of hearing, I would really love if you'd make captions available. Even if it's just auto captions. ♡ It would make it much more accessible to those who are HOH or deaf.
Sir you are doing Gods work, just last week i was looking for some decent games then i found your channel, and now im trying to make sure i dont go over budget with my spending...
Hi Splattercat, I just watched your Dungeonmans, and loved your video to death, any chance we can see more episodes of yourself and Dungeonmans? Pretty please?
hey man ive always wondered, do you intentionally read with slight variations from the subtitles or do you do that because of some reason not apparent to viewers?
It looks like your main weapon should be potions/bombs that you can create. As a RPG maniac I think you just play as Alchemist -> Grenadier from Pathfinder.
Haven't watched much yet, but that opening is VERY Darkest Dungeon inspired. This not necessarily a bad thing, as long as the game finds it's own vibe soon.
humble jan bundle, basically hinging on this if i bother or skip. I like the timered exploration aspect (was something that i was hoping the possibly-FPS xcom would do before it got burned on the stake for not being what others wanted, and the same for most other progression games since), combat looks weak, pets seem usual game-Ai 9or lack thereof) not much else to go by. Going by reviews there's not much more to the game beyond the demo other than ingredients grinding to fill out your recipes and a single boss-enemy. Otherwise short. .. . Eh, i can live w/o it, seems to be a decent idea poorly realised.
Anyone else get pissed of when youtubers just randomly replace or skip words when reading subtitles? Like it means the same thing but it makes it twice as dumb that they couldn't bother to properly read it aloud? No? Just me? Alright then.
I always find it interesting, if they do it with at least a little bit of grace. My folks watch a couple of shows (like the Spanish-origin "Money Heist") where the subtitles don't match the speech word for word, and it's kind of fun to wonder about the differences: simple foreign language differences sometimes, crazed American sensitivity in others. I like that Splat has enough gift of gab to change it on the fly; it's the same thing that makes his commentary so good. On my end, it's like watching a movie that's been adapted from a novel. Really interesting - and often frustrating for the movies; I feel you there - to see the differences. Game of Thrones pulled it off nicely for the most part, until the last season. Splat/UA-cam, yeah, occasionally the changes are basic (which I find amusing). I can see why other mentalities - and God help Aspies/OCD there - would really hate it, though.
When I was kid Wolfenstein came out and my parents were like "Killing Nazis? Have at it." As soon as they found out you also kill dogs in that game they took it away. Obviously I was upset, but I stand by their decision and your opinion. Hurting dogs in games or in life is just a total no.
What if it attacks you, though? If a dog runs up and starts biting me - in a game or in real life - I'm not cool with just letting him do it. Obviously I am going to yell and kick/strike/shoot at it, to cause it as much pain as possible so it will stop. Then, depending on the circumstances, I would find its owner, have it taken away, or - in some places - other things might need to happen. Otherwise, I guess it's like any creature; unless it's an insect trying to infest my house or something, we're cool. They recently banned greyhound racing in my state, and that's another point. People said that making dogs race for money was cruel and ruled it illegal. ...but horse racing is still fine, and dogs still work for the police, the army, and the disabled; obviously that's not going anywhere. Meanwhile we turn a blind eye to factory farms which are like dystopian nightmares of animal cruelty, compared with which the chickens used in cockfighting are treated quite humanely and given good lives. Because people like to eat meat. The industry really tries to keep photos and video from getting out, but you can find footage from a factory farm if you try (the movie Samsara has some good shots); it's insanely awful. A common, legal, quietly accepted hell endured by billions, that doesn't need to exist and is honestly bad for the entire world. If you've been behind a chicken truck on the highway, you get it. But we can't let dogs bred for racing race, because they're fuzzy and it's wrong? People voted for that law and patted themselves on the back, because they thought they'd done something decent. ...and killing a dog in a game, well, that's a choice, isn't it? Even in Wolfenstein.
Direction.......Perfection.......Correction.......Selection......Collection......Imperfection....... Well there was a few words you could have used before you would have had to use erection haha
Some people absolutely lust for fish, others find fish repulsive. I love fish but I hate avocados, mushrooms, tomatoes, lamb, all kinds of stuff other people find delicious. I'll eat an onion like it's an apple no problem. People are weird. It's also a bit strange when someone says they don't like fish. There are so many options. Halibut is nothing like Salmon, Catfish is its own category alone. Then there's the funkier stuff like pickled mackerel, sardines, anchovies... so good with beer. My lady won't kiss me for a day after I scarf down pickled mackerel, but it's so damn good. Even though it smells like the wharf at low tide.

I like how you jumped ahead in your playthrough to show us interesting progression, it shows more of the game in 35 min. Game also looks great :)
Especially important in rpgs where progression takes a lot more time than you have
Dude I swear you find some of the coolest games, hidden gem's I never knew existed.

From "do no harm" to "light children on fire" in record time
I guess "do no harm" needs to be defined.
Coming back to the channel after 5 years and the intro hasn’t changed damn :)
as soon as you showed the hat options, I was sold.
Note: To get Worms - punch the hollow tree trunks with the yellow mushrooms growing on them.
Splat: "No one likes killing dogs"
The ATF: ............
Especially from the guy that followed it up with: "Lighting children on fire, that is how I spend my day today."
Ahhh, that ol' chestnut... the sandbox, post-apocalyptic, plague doctor, arpg.... ;)
Looks interesting. I have purchased a few dozen games after first seeing your reviews. I'm adding this one to my wishlist.
Did not expect this to be a Team17 title. Wish I could bring over a few of my monkeys!
I like the style of this game. It's funny that two good alchemy games came out recently (Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator) but you won't catch me complaining.
Good example of a game I didn't know I wanted
To be fair: professional plague doctors didn't even really know how to be plague doctors

The intro already got me. Quite interesting . I like the art style and the mechanics so far. Thank you for showing it :-)
This game looks really magical, it is so nice.
"Purply Wyrpylies" is now my new favorite way to describe evil corruption. Can Lord SplatterCat clarify the spelling on that?
I feel like you have a good grasp of the Spylling.
I love your channel. Always finding new games for me to check out.
I could believe that there are random eggs sitting around in abandoned shacks...but sunny side up eggs? Come on game lol
Just put this on my Wishlist and will check out the free demo later today. I like the stylized graphics.

Very cool. Reminds me of sakuna
Evey man feels like having some fish from time to time 😁 9:11
I like how brewing is like basic programming logic xD
Team17 historic!
I like the game. The art looks nice and I also love how we play as a plagued doctor. It kinda align with my profession in RL as a pharmacist.
''I wonder if fire cleanses the corruption?'' - Splat reenacting Sigmar first Thought in life
Anyone else see that box backpack and think he was carrying around Nezuko? XD

Game looks kinda awsome idk..comic book style and it just looks perfect
cel shading (a.k.a toon shading)
This game is soo sick holy!
at a random point within the game, npcs in modern tactical gear will abduct you. afterwards, npcs in labcoats will try to conduct interviews with you
Dr. Corvus Clemmons is that you? or SCP 049? The game looks pretty interesting, something kinda new. cheers
Pretty sure you could have tamed that rat with the blue light around it

Ahh yes, SCP 049 simulator
4min in and I've decided I want the game..! Downside being that that means I don't want to spoil the content shown in the rest of the video..
Oh yeah. Solution is to have it play through off-screen muted! Everybody wins! xD

Nice game. By the way aren't you gonna make another video on BEWARE ? 😁
I love that skybox holyshit
