If you do leave a dislike I dont mind but plz tell me why..I work hard on these videos and nobody ever says anything negative..any feed back is much appreciated!
I work hard on mine as well bro and every video I have has 1 or more dislikes and nothing is ever said i don't sweat it and just look at it as I got another view
Good idea using the washers. I keep plate steel around just for making manifold but not everyone has plasma cutters and stuff like that so the washer trick is a great idea.
When you can't even afford to buy cheap Chinese junk, you have to make it yourself. I was fortunate enough to get an old quad with a similar size engine and the carburetor (if it's still any good) is the same size as what you buy from the Internet. Love videos like this ! 👍🏻
Nice power slide on the intro. Can’t thank you enough brother big thanks to Johnny too with those finishing touches. Great video, gona help a lot of people out there wanting to build a custom intake. Gona be a big help when I attempt it myself in the future also. Badass job man.
Great job. Love your videos. Helpful tips... clean your washers with muriatic acid it's cheap at any hardware store. Prep your pipe with it to. Your welds won't be UGLY and less clean up after. The galvanized coating contaminates the weld big time.
You may think this is nutz but it works and a lot less fumes. Toilet bowl cleaner lol, I have been welding for 28 yrs Motorsports stuff, I swear it works great !
I was wondering if it was ok to make a steel intake since i have not tried to weld aluminum. Now i know it is and can continue with my mud mower build . Thanks!
Nice! We have a 3 horse B&S with no carb...and a Kehin carb. Haven't been able to find an intake to put the two together, will definitely be doing this!
That is super awesome that you did that for one of your subscribers I have three mini bikes myself if you look in my subscription picture my UA-cam subscription picture the left you will see it in the little circle 1969 Doodlebug hot rod little mini bike fast fast fast wheelie bars are not for looks safety feature keeps me from looping! LOL! It's too bad you guys are so far away from where I live cuz I could totally see myself cruising with you guys on your mini bikes and partying later on oh, all right bro skis keep up the good work sincerely your fan jaybird.
Good stuff man!!! I just started making my intake yesterday for a Briggs I just picked up from my dads place. He passed away and while I was at his house going thru some stuff I found a Briggs flathead 5hp industrial sitting outside. I took it home and plan on building it up and throwing it on a old school mini bike I have, I think he’d like that. Anyways the factory carb is trash so I’m making a intake for a mikuni 22mm and then fabing a header for it. Thanks man m, love your videos
I like it man! Good thinking on the washers! I built mine the most complicated way possible lol.... These washers would have saved me half the battle lol! Good job my brother! 👍
Awesome video!! Ive been trying to bring back an old 3 horsepower Briggs to out on an old mini bike for my daughter. But the carb and fuel tank are pooched. Definitely gonna be following your video to try to make my own. Any suggestions for carb size for a 3 horsepower briggs?
Not sure if they make anything small than a 22mm makuni..but maybe a carb for a 50cc pit bike would work..get em on amazon for like 20 bucks..I'm actually building an intake for a 390cc honda right now..thx for watching
Get a step down or unibit for a drill..kinda expensive but works ...thx for watching..plz hit the like..some trolls disliked the hell out of this video
Great video Nate. I have a technical question.. Once you've taken off the original carb, tank and muff to upgrade to the "mikuni carburetor" . What do you do to take care of the governor? (once the linkages are off). Thanks, your input would be appreciated!
A multipurpose welder will do you wonders so you could tig weld. The Titanium I think it's a 160 model from harbor frieght is great. Otherwise I like your thinking.
Do you sell these online anywhere? have two briggs engines with updraft carbs, and would like to replace with a mikuni clone dual fuel kit, Only other thing id need to do is use some throttle cable to go from the briggs governor to the mikuni
I got a PZ20 on a 3.5 tecumseh. Idles but dies when I give it gas. Runs a little better with the choke on. Do I need to adjust the pin on the slide needle? Thanks
Sorry I’m late but anything that runs better needs to be adjusted to be richer. An a screw adjuster richer is out and on on a needle it is lowering the clip
Sam’s Garage I’m sure the paint took care of it lol iether way I just had to take a test Monday csuse was exposed to someone who may have it....careless cousin of mine

What size Mikuni carburetor could you put on a three horse flathead braves 22 mm Mikuni seems too big
I think a 22mm would be too big..I would look for a 50cc carb..I bet it would work great..thx for watching friend
Those are wicked intakes..you do great work.
Saul is gonna be rippin soon💪 you rock nate
Yes sir. 5hp briggs on a motovox is my plan for now
Thanks for saving me money I’m truly glad you posted this video

Nice work with the jb weld and nice trick with the spit on the jb weld
Great job it looks mint👍
Great video good idea use the washers do you think the same carb will work on the briggs & stratton 2hp
Might be a bit too big for a 2hp..but I'm sure they make smaller carbs
Saul is going to love it nate looking sweet broski
Love the color of blue on the first mini bike
Great informative video just Incase I need to do this one day . One question how to you size carburetor to engine??? Thank you.
I just wing it..alot of slide carbs are very adjustable..thx for watching

Man I tell ya..one of these days I will upgrade..so expensive for me anyways..thx for watching friend
Like it Nate, though I would probably start with a different flange material.
I don't have a welder! Would straight jb weld hold just by itself? I am doing a 5.5 myself and need a manifold
I don't think it will man...but its worth a try..thx for watching Friend
Thanks for the instructions. I think I'll save some time and ask a few friends for help.
@@chrisstrwart6661 I know u could be on a budget but a harbor freight welder is only 120 bucks or so..hope your figure it out
I'll have to check it out

I guess there is a market for these..unfortunately I don't have time my friend
can you make one for me???? how much????? i need one, damn mikuni o ring wont work for shit.
Sorry friend..I'm outta the custom fab work..It would be cheaper to buy a harbor freight welder and do it yourself
Hey bro I need an intake for a Briggs 5HP you got me ? I just subscribed 🎉
Thx for the subscription but I don't build them anymore
I hear a Lincoln 140 welder.
Jb weld cannot handle heat btw... it can only handle 500F
Still holding to this day..intake doesn't get that hot..thx for watching Friend
