- This video shows Two (2) different ways to suspend wire rabbit pens. We use wire rabbit cages for our angora rabbits and keep as little wood as possible exposed to the rabbits. Rabbits will chew wood and need proper airflow to stay healthy. The video has our 4 foot by 2 foot pens and our temporary 2 foot by 2 foot pens. Do you hang your rabbit pens?
The exercise pen is the only pen not suspended.

Yes, I do :) was that a sheet of metal you used behind the the smaller pen ?
No because you abuse animals and want to breed them
Try scorching the wood to preserve the wood.

Can does bee keep in the same cages together and I heard to have to separate males due to them fighting at times. Suggestion???
Rabbits have their own preferences. A mom and daughter may be able to be kept together, or siblings. Spaying and neutering are helpful. Space requirements are increased for multiple bunnies in the same area. Some rabbits do not get along, others are amicable.
Could you switch out that back 2x4 for a metal pipe and clip the pen to the pipe instead of the wood? It seems like it would be less mess/stink/repair to deal with.

Thank you for sharing your methods of hanging your wire rabbit pens! You give many considerations to keep in mind when building a bunny barn. I was wondering though, where are Harriet and Carl?

Thank you Stephane! This was very informative and now I have some ideas as to what I would like for my cages. Would putting a large tile in the cages or on top of the wood boxes make it easier to clean and give the rabbits a place to stand?
That certainly is a good option. I would like to move them all in the house, honestly, but we are certainly not set up for it! :)
