Just made these!!! Amazing so delicious. I sifted the almond flour and added 1/8 teaspoon corn extract to the three egg whites. This hit the spot and they even have the texture of corn tortillas. I will never buy low carb tortillas again!! Thank you Tim and Nancy!
I don't know what it is but like the way you explain the recipes, like the classic cooking shows, unlike most of today channels that use over the top voicing, music, etc
I made chips out of this recipe using an air fryer (6-7 minutes) and they came out very crunchy and more the texture of a Wheat-Thin. Perfect vessel for salsa, cheese or whatever you want. I also omitted the xantum gum (I really dislike the texture it gives) and they hold together perfect! Thank you for bringing back the "crunch"!
Wow, these chips are AWESOME! Just made these tortillas (they are still warm!). I made all 8 of mine into chips. They are so good and crispy. I added a 1/2 t. of my homemade taco seasoning mix to the dough before the egg whites, and they are delicious! Thank you for this and all your other videos!
I really enjoyed making these & the texture is almost identical to tradional corn tortillas! Thank you for making this so easy to follow. I loved your bun recipe so much that I turned 2 batches into everything bagels 🥯 ❤. Please keep making recipes & hope to see you on UA-cam soon! 🤗
Hey there! I made these on Monday and had wonderful fish tacos. Tuesday, I fried a couple of these and used them for nachos - excellent again (but very filling). Wednesday, I used two of them to make a quesadilla. They were a bit small to seal in all the good stuff but these tortillas really fit the bill! Looking forward to using them for other recipes.
Wow! Thank you for taking your time and translate this you did a excellent job, would you please do more Nancy's recipes? like those awesome gorditas and a tostadas that she make👏👏👏😀

Hello Anna! WELCOME! Thanks for subscribing! I have LOTS of recipes you might just LOVE! When I started cooking keto in January 2018, my husband and I were both obese and prediabetic. Six months later, each of us had lost 50+ lbs and were back to normal blood sugar levels--my husband got there just by eating lchf without exercizing! We've kept it off for over a year now--and I turned the experience into the cooking show I always wanted to do! 😀
I made these tonight and oh yeah! These are absolutely fantastic. My wife (who hates keto food) LOVED these. I subbed the psyllium for milled flax and it worked out great. We topped with grated cheddar, shredded chicken, fresh avacado and store bought salsa. These made outstanding soft tacos!
Saw your / Nancy’s video this morning and had to make it! Like many, I really don’t like eggy cheesy breads. Congrats to Nancy on coming up with this recipe...it is dynamite! I’ll be making this often. I also oven fried the tortillas for chips, they are really good. Have a tortilla press coming from Amazon today.Thank you for translating... I plan on going to her site and thanking her, too!
Thank you TIM for sharing the tortilla recipe from Pinche Nancy, I do follow her as well. By the way you are an expert making tortillas, yours came out beautiful. Greetings from Anaheim, California.
You look like a real tortilla master with your tortilla press! Btw you could use any plastic bag cutted and extended (made a single sheet) with a drop of oil and it would work much better than the parchment paper.
I made these and had them with Mexican cachete barbacoa. They were awesome. I cheated because I ran out of them so I had a corn tortilla also and these actually were much better than the corn tortillas
Hi DAPE Games! No, whole psyllium husks won't work here. You can grind them into a powder first, though, then measure out the recommended amount. Bon appétit!
I don't see why not, but we tend to eat them up quickly. They keep in the fridge perfectly for several days, though. I'd try it with a small batch first and would cook them before freezing.

you did Pinche Nancy's recipe that is so cool on so many levels!

I am almost crying. I have tried everything under the sun to find a chip I could stand. These are actually GOOD. tysm
Hey Tim, nice touch adding the chips! I have made these tortillas several times; Nancy hit it out of the park with this recipe! Great video!
The best keto tortillas! I love it🥰 thank you.
They're the best keto tortillas. We no longer use store tortillas. My family loves these tortillas.

Hi DAPE Games! No, whole psyllium husks won't work here. You can grind them into a powder first, though, then measure out the recommended amount. Bon appétit!

Is the almond flour ground almonds or pressed with less fat? Which brand do you use? And have you tried the recipe with other flours meanwhile?
Hi Magi! Almond flour is just finely ground almonds--blanched or not. Personally, I use a couple of different brands--Bob's Red Mill, Anthony's (the best, I think), and Nature's Eats. I haven't tried this with other flours. Some are MUCH more absorbent thsn almond flour (coconut, flaxseed meal, for example), so I can't say with confidence how they would work out. Worth a try!
Thank you so much. Unfortunately here in Germany it's called "ground almonds" in supermarkets, but both versions "flours" in online stores. Very confusing and it makes such a difference in the results (like coconut flour). I'm always happy if it's just the ground version in recipes, because it's more accessible.
Delicious!!!
Glad I came across this recipe. What brand or kind of psyllium husk do you use? And if its whole do you need t ground it up?
Hi LB! I use Now brand (I think it was the cheapest I could find on Amazon). Whole, unground husks can be ground up in a spice mill, a blender or a mortar & pestle, of course.
@@TIMTalksCooking thank you.
Hello Tim, can you please let me know how can we storage the tortilla chips ? In a airtight container in the fridge or at room temperature? .... thank you very very for your recipe! 😋

Hi Cheryl! Great idea! Thanks for this comment!
I’ve made Pinche Nancy‘s tortilla recipe at least 3 times and even though I love the flavor I can’t seam to make them playable. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but they crack/break as soon as I make the taco. I’m Mexican so of course I need to figure it out since I need tortillas in my life 😝
Hi Beatriz! My guess is you're cooking them too long--they only take about 10-15 seconds per side--and/or your skillet is too hot. Hope this helps!
Where do you find carb free baking powder? I can not seem to find it.
Hi Drew! I don't know of a commercial brand. I make my own by using equal parts baking soda and cream of tartar.
How long could these last in refer?
About a week, I think, but mine never last that long! We eat them up!
Can you sub the psyllium husk for flaxseed powder? I read psyllium powder can become a laxative cuz of its fiber content
Hi Christopher! You probably could, but both are very high in fiber and both can have a laxative effect. There isn't enough psyllium husk powder in the recipe to affect anyone unless they eat the entire batch.
Holy Moses! I can have tacos again!? Thank you!
Hi Mom! You bet! Enjoy!

Looks great! I need to find an almond farmer to marry so I won’t go broke buying almond flour 😜
😆😆😆😆
Costco has a deal $11 for 4 pounds
Have a go at making your own by blitzing almonds (skin on or blanched/skin off) in a food processor or coffee/spice grinder. The texture will be a little coarser than flour but has worked for me in other bread recipes. Works out less than half the cost of almond flour. Add a little extra flour to whatever recipe your doing.
For reals!! But we’re worth it! I see it as an investment on myself.

Yes. In the description.
Mine were splitting when I roll them and pretty firm after cooking. Not pliable at all. Too dry?
Hi Gabrielle! No, my guess is that you cooked them for too long. 30 seconds tops on a side shoukd do it. Make chips out of your first ones!
