Thank you for the video - It was very informative! I think the delivery was too fast though. As a beginner, I had a hard time following along and needed to use UA-cam's video speed tools to slow down the video to have an easier time following along. Otherwise, the host was very knowledgeable and had good tips.

I'm super new to setting up a CRM. I've used a couple, but never set them up from scratch. This video went so fast that I had a little panic attack watching it. I understand it wanting to be quick, but I think the fast talking was the issue for me. Good content.....just presented to quickly for the amount of it.

Not true, it's spot on, could be your ADD or maybe English isn't your first language (it's not with me). This is probably one of the best intro tutorials I've seen and I can assure you, I've seen tons and tons of so much other software. This is an amazing walkthrough and you can easily pause and go back and forth on a laptop. If it's too fast for you, I'd advise you to consider ways of speeding up your learning. BTW, senior tech writer over here.

You can create unique settings for mobile devices and preview mobile layouts in the design tools. HubSpot also has a mobile app.
Yes, you can use HubSpot with different website software by embedding forms and adding the HubSpot tracking code to each website page. Some features are available with the free tool while others require a paid subscription.

I've just signed up for Hubspot. Looks like a great platform and it's free. Love how it integrates with outlook email and the ability to track and log emails into the crm. But can integrate it with QuickBooks?? So that I can sync my hubspot contacts and send out invoices from QuickBooks.

+David Castel it’s always free but the way you’ll see this play out is that you’ll run into feature limitations in the free version. Yes, you get Unlimited users, but you’ll end up needing to upgrade if you want more features, such as custom reports of crm data, automation, email marketing above 2000 sends, etc.
my company set up a hubspot account. I am using my personal computer and want to make sure that only my company email is synced with hubtop and my person datatbase isn't uploaded to HS. What do I need to do in settings? thank you
Nothing. HubSpot only connects your email account so you can track emails sent to contacts in HubSpot. Your personal contacts are not uploaded into HubSpot. If you send personal emails from your business account, those contacts may be added to the HubSpot contacts records. You can manually turn off tracking or filter out emails you don't want tracked.
Some of the features that you may be looking for might be hidden due to the fact that they require an upgrade. Let us know if it's something different than that and we can see if there's a different answer for you!

Many of my contacts have two phone numbers (a land line and a cell phone). HubSpot has a place for a phone number. How do I enter the second phone number?
HubSpot actually has 3 fields for phone numbers - phone number 1, phone number 2, and mobile phone. We’d suggest establishing a criteria in your CRM that you all adhere to as to ‘what phone 1’ means, such as phone 1 is work, phone 2 is personal, etc.

I am trying to create multiple forms on my website on different pages. I want to make a form where visitors can enter their email and name and submit to download an ebook. How do I do this with hubspot?
What version of HubSpot do you have? If it's marketing starter - you'd create a landing page, then use CTAs, a form, and the follow-up email to accomplish this task. Watch the landing page video on our channel to learn more about that as we do feature an ebook example. If you're using Marketing Pro, you can still do it that way, but could do a variety of different follow-up options through workflows.

HubSpot requires a website url (aka Domain) to create an account, but you don’t need to have an active website. Looks good but my copy of HubSpot doesn’t have the list with filters etc on the left of the screen so quite confusing plus you really rattle through it !. I will go check out another help video, maybe it will match my copy,thanks anyway.

yes - you'll need to sign up for an account on your desktop to get things setup, but then you can utilize the HubSpot CRM mobile app to search for contacts, schedule tasks, add notes, etc.

If you’re not calling directly through hubspot, you’d need to first have your sales team record a call on the contact records of the people they connected with. Then, assuming they’re doing that correctly, you can use reports to display that info!

It didn't seem like teaching, you lost me in beginning. With telling something and not finishing the topic. I wanted to learn but this is too much and too fast. I speak fast too but when you have to make an audience to understand you have to be more interactive and a little bit slow.

Is it possible to add email to company when you don't know any person, but you know general email to office for example?
You can’t send an email to a company record. What you can do is create a contact using the general email address.

my company set up a hubspot account. I am using my personal computer and want to make sure that only my company email is synced with hubtop and my person datatbase isn't uploaded to HS. What do I need to do in settings? thank you
Nothing. HubSpot only connects your email account so you can track emails sent to contacts in HubSpot. Your personal contacts are not uploaded into HubSpot. If you send personal emails from your business account, those contacts may be added to the HubSpot contacts records. You can manually turn off tracking or filter out emails you don't want tracked.

Many of my contacts have two phone numbers (a land line and a cell phone). HubSpot has a place for a phone number. How do I enter the second phone number?
HubSpot actually has 3 fields for phone numbers - phone number 1, phone number 2, and mobile phone. We’d suggest establishing a criteria in your CRM that you all adhere to as to ‘what phone 1’ means, such as phone 1 is work, phone 2 is personal, etc.

I am trying to create multiple forms on my website on different pages. I want to make a form where visitors can enter their email and name and submit to download an ebook. How do I do this with hubspot?
What version of HubSpot do you have?
If it's marketing starter - you'd create a landing page, then use CTAs, a form, and the follow-up email to accomplish this task. Watch the landing page video on our channel to learn more about that as we do feature an ebook example.
If you're using Marketing Pro, you can still do it that way, but could do a variety of different follow-up options through workflows.

How do we sign up if we have no company domain
HubSpot requires a website url (aka Domain) to create an account, but you don’t need to have an active website. You have a limited number of contacts (1,000) and templates to choose from. You will also have the HubSpot logo at the bottom of the email. You can remove the logo at the Starter level for $50/month.
Looks good but my copy of HubSpot doesn’t have the list with filters etc on the left of the screen so quite confusing plus you really rattle through it !. I will go check out another help video, maybe it will match my copy,thanks anyway.

yes - you'll need to sign up for an account on your desktop to get things setup, but then you can utilize the HubSpot CRM mobile app to search for contacts, schedule tasks, add notes, etc.

If you’re not calling directly through hubspot, you’d need to first have your sales team record a call on the contact records of the people they connected with. Then, assuming they’re doing that correctly, you can use reports to display that info!

Sorry! You can slow the playback down by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom of the video screen. You can set the playback speed at .75.

Blimey that was SO fast. I've watched it twice and still not really got it and I have to teach it to my team, some of whom are not overly techie. I am a total beginner to hubspot and found this hard to follow. Lots of information and tips but needs to be watched a few times if you are a newbie to get it.

It didn't seem like teaching, you lost me in beginning. With telling something and not finishing the topic. I wanted to learn but this is too much and too fast. I speak fast too but when you have to make an audience to understand you have to be more interactive and a little bit slow.

I learned nothing as a beginner. I'm here because I have already purchased HubSpot and wanted a quick start guide. This is just telling me what I already know. Perhaps you should change the title - it's not a beginner's guide, its a guide for someone not knowing anything about HubSpot.

This is the worst CRM I have ever had to use - ACT, Mazimizer and SalesForce, Netsuite leave this clunky Hubspot CRM for dead
