They added new health requirements like new manufactures of meat and a new refrigerator to store the meat! After that Sonic said that they will add the footlong cookie and many different menu items in the future! My source of all of the news is my dad is friends with the owner of the Subway 2 miles down the street from me.

Subway's still owned by the estate of the founder and is currently being sold to Roark, who also owns Sonic's parent company, but also a ton of different chain restaurants. Sonic has absolutely nothing to do with Subway beyond that. Also, all of recent changes have been in development long before Subway had considered selling.
I work at Subway, and as a tip to anyone out there who does as well, I would recommend you PINCH the front middle of the bag to open it up and grab the deli paper front and bottom and slide it on in. Also, it doesn’t really taste like a cookie. It’s more of a cake mixture sort of brownie ish…

I actually made a Double Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake cookie after we got these. Spread out a bit without the holder these come in 😂 much better than what these are gonna be
We got them a few weeks ago...the cookie is terrible, but the churro and pretzel are pretty good. Make sure you eat the pretzel the second it comes out of the toaster, though, because after a few minutes it becomes hard as a brick.
They should make footlong pizza rolls stuffed with sausage or pepperoni (or both) with mozzarella cheese and mushrooms if you like. And I mean fully STUFFED not mostly hollow. Subway's new jumbo stuffed pizza rolls served with a large side of fries that are each a footlong too.
I use to work at subway I was fired 2 weeks before Christmas and it's a great place just the one I worked at the manager and the employees weren't nice and the owner of the subway chain I worked at wouldn't do anything about employees stealing and that I know there's new people buying the subway chain I worked at I had the job for 8 months it was my first job it was a fun experience besides the employee and getting only 2 hours a week because my manager hated me for some reason but honestly I really liked the job and I wanted to see the sidekicks come because I was looking forward to seeing little kids come in and getting it and seeing there faces when they see how big the cookie, churro, and pretzel is just seeing peoples happy faces made my day better it was a good job I just wish the employees at the store I worked at was nicer and that corporate would of actually done something about the manager stealing tips and employees stealing food and that besides that it was a fun experience and I would recommend it to people you just have to find the right store that treats you right
Just taste tested ours and omg when I tell you I didnt think that the cookie would be the best out of all the new footlong sidekicks. The churro was the most bomb though!
