"You are not, You are not, You are not _funny."_ Love that kid!
That little baby is so cute 😂
The kids are almost 40 now... would like to see a reunion!!!
I dunno, that 'accidents happen' kid might be doing time by now...
These were some of the funniest moments on Late Night. Dave is a big kid himself.
Accidents Happen. That was so funny you'd think it was rehearsed but it wasn't.
BBC see z I is
Good times Mahalo 🤙
The kids loved Dave and you could always tell Dave loved the kids. Glad he was finally able to have his own
Jingle Bells kid is a legend.
The lesson to be learned: "Accidents happen."
😅
That kid is Tommy Gambino and he's now doing 20 years for "accidentally" bumping a guy off. True story.
@@daveg6839 is that for real??
@@eagleeye2300 Tommy Gambino is 91 year old today!
My favorite response.
"Accidents happen." Daayyuum!!! lol
That salad-eating kid was a terrific little dude 😊
Sometimes I wonder if he is still eating lettuce after all this time.... I'd like to think yes.
This collection is absolutely properly titled in the Letterman style! Never just "Kids," always "the Kids."
Don doesn’t miss
@@Subo23 you got it. I have fond memories of Dave introducing a segment on the final Late Show as "some conversations we've had over the years, with the Kids."
Hatching eggs eat chicken nuggets
I laughed out loud at this entire collection! Thanks Don, this is as good as it gets. God I miss Letterman.
I do too! He was so funny. Politics weren’t an issue. Fun was made of everyone including himself.
Upholstery farm!
Pure gold!
Thanks, Don! I forgot how many times Dave’s interviews with kids cracked me up, and also saw a lot I’d never seen before.
"where did the dog bite you?" "In the kitchen". I think Dave knew that was coming, it's such a classic answer
Mostly :)
Underrated
That black kid singing in segment two fucking RULES!
Dear Don, these vids make me happy. Thanks for posting !
when late night talk was good . . . .I love the early Dave!
GET READY FOR THE LUTZ! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. thanks for bringing this channel to youtube
Well… I’m 32 now… at those ages back then, I was terrified of everyone and EVERYTHING! I couldn’t talk when someone spoke to me. Now I’m a grown woman and the loudest one in the room. I wonder how these outgoing kids turned out!
Finished watching last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you!
You've turned my mood around a hundred times, Don. Thanks for all your hard work.
"A carton of Luck Strike cigarettes..."
Most magical Christmas, ever...
I love when she says, “It was a weird story.”
Yes, Dave! Definitely a precocious kid in an adults ' body.... and making a nice living too!
These are beautiful! My favorite segments are pure joy and silliness.
Thank you so much for all the Dave clips, Don. I always loved the show and so appreciate you posting them.
Thank you for posting this, and wishing you Happy Fourth of July if you are from USA.
David Letterman is the coolest guy ever!!! U just know he's an excellent dad!!! I love watching his old videos!!!
I was probably close to those kids age in 1995. I was 11 years old. Now I am almost 40. And yes I did love Dave Lettermen. He was not lying about kids liking him. Modern Day late night is inspired by him which shows proof.
So much fun. Thank you so much!
I dont think any other person has made me laugh harder and more than David Letterman
thank you so much for this!
Thanks Don....great Dave shtick as always! Dave looks uncomfortable through a lot of these...and I can't blame him!
Hey thanks for this, Don ! and the recent Steve Martin collection too
They are all growed up now!!
33:15 and moments after, this little one rocks the hoopla hoop.
Rocks it.
big Dave strikes me as a thoughtful, kind and better not get out of line dad
Superb! Thanks!
Haha, too cute! Little Spencer enjoyed Batman Returns.
And he grew up to be an actor...Zoom and The Cat in the Hat
I've seen a short version of this several years ago. I clearly remember the "accidents happen" kid (4:55).
Thanx Don!
"Where do you live?"
"AT HOME?"
I used to teach Sunday school and I always joked with the kids... "How'd you sleep?" "With my eyes closed!," Hahaha!
These are so good, I miss Dave.
"-What's your mother's name ?" "-I dunno"
And they say kids are not funny.
Thanks for your work putting up this collection, its priceless!
Yes! Thank you!
I love these kids. I worked in a daycare when I was 19 and still remember things they said
LOVED IT!!! 🥰
besides old candid camera this is best visit with kids on tv
Priceless !!
24:01 is actor Spencer Breslin, who was in “The Kid” with Bruce Willis. Also the brother of actress Abigail Breslin.
Dave was great with the kids. Didn't talk down to them..
Two points for a pun?
hilarious. thanks for your effort.
i miss Letterman..so hilarious..
At 24:00 , that's child actor Spencer Breslin who starred in "Cat and The Hat", among other films.
How do you even know that
@@soposh5673 Research and... Psstt... Dave even calls him "Spencer".
Many people don't know this but 18:47 is the very first television appearance of future talk show host Craig Kilborn.
I don't know if someone has said it before, but I'm pretty sure the kid in 24:02 is the same kid from "The Kid" movie with Bruce Willis.
I think letterman had his funniest moments when kids were on the program. I mean he played off that hyperactive kid brilliantly.
"is mom tired all the time?" lol
Hi, Don (great compilation, by the way!), Maybe you’ve explained this before, but why do some of your Letterman clips have the Worldwide Pants watermark, but others don’t? (It even turn up on clips from the morning show, which must have been produced before W.P. even existed.) Just curious as the watermark appearance seems so random.
All depends which shows I haven’t yet digitized from my own collection.
These kids will be my age now!!
Letterman with the Senna logo shirt... A big fan of one of the fastest drivers of all time! Remarkable!
Kids do love Dave!
Truly a genius.
Awwww, that’s Spencer Breslin
Dave was raised by poodles? Well, that would explain the hair.
"Accidents happen." 😆
God that`s so blessed!
I want hours and hours more.
4:30 the giggle. so fricken cute. lo.
And the kid never became an astronaut because Biff wouldn't stop laughing.
Thanks! Do you have any clips of Paul and the band playing music? Thanks for the videos!!! 👦👦👦
I’ve put up a number of them.
Imagine if he kept bringing back Peter Howard from the June 9, 1992 segment where kids were telling jokes
Hilarious.
This is so great. Don, do you happen to have a clip from The Late Show days called "The Letterman Family"? It was a sitcom-style opening credits sequence with a dozen child actors and Tony Randall as The Butler and it had the most ridiculous theme song. I've hunted it for years but never found it (so I might be misremembering). Any chance?
July 17, 1997. Right now focused on putting together a Pete Fatovich compilation. When that’s done, maybe (big maybe) I’ll get started on a Tony Randall thing, and I’ll include that clip in there.
Btw, the theme song was sung by Will Lee.
@@dongiller that's wonderful! Thanks so much! Your recall is amazing!!!
This aged well. 2022 She is in court and in trouble again
SUBBED!
24 minutes in, that's Spencer Breslin! I loved him in The Kid, with Bruce Willis. It's a good movie, if you haven't seen it yet!
I wondered why I recognized him, he was on Law & Order.
@@colerieger7300 That's awesome! I'll have to check that out! Yes, anytime the subject of Bruce Willis comes up, I say, "Have you seen 'The Kid'?! You've got to see 'The Kid'!" Thank you for letting me know about Law & Order!☺️
@@colerieger7300I'm watching it again just now, and at 30:57, they're saying his name is Sebastian! I'm looking at him and thinking I was wrong, that it's not Spencer Breslin! Interesting to see how perception can shift. 'The Kid' - still a great movie! Someone should call up Dave and see if he could do a remake with all these kids today. That would be funny.
That kid who keeps out trolling dave.
So glad he got his own (Harry). Bless Dave & family!
wow, he is as good with kids as he is with jack hanna!
What are the kids of today going to do now without Dave? They love him you know?
The funniest parts are with the 3,4 and 5 year old kids 🤣🤣🤣
24:01 Actor Spencer Breslin when he was a kid...
Ilove kids too. He is so 👌
Thank you to Don Giller, David Letterman, and some of those kids.
"You think there's a lesson to be learned here?"
Kid: "Yeah.................................. accidents happen."
🤣
I am honestly cry laughing!
He is the best
Is the boy at 13:06 the late child actor Kevin A. Clark from SCHOOL OF ROCK?
How about the kid at 24:01? He looks like Spencer Breslin (the star of Bruce Willi´s comedy THE KID)?
Where are these kids now, @dongiller ? Do you think Dave could find them and do a follow-up?🤔
Not a clue.
"You're not funny."
The knock knock joke killed me!
Those darn kids.
Dave was/is awesome with the kids....Kimmel is pretty good at these meetings as well.
what is the little boy saying at 9 34 min mark? after Dave says..Do you like talking to me?
He says “you’re annoying” but I can’t hear what he says after that.
@@gates69 :) Thank u :)
So addicted to these clips with Dave and the kids :)
The hula hoop girl!!! 33:16 😂😂😂😂
Some people of these kids are in their late 30s now. Let THAT sink in.
1:15:20 Foo Fighters Everlong, Obviously. Song he ended the show with. One of the best songs of all time.
Collection here - ua-cam.com/video/ef2RhatlmZM/v-deo.html
the lettuce girl - priceless
Lol that was a boy I think
Who's the blonde man who plays base guitar in Paul Schafer's band? And also the black person with long braids.
Will Lee is the bass player, Felicia Collins on second guitar. Paul’s last name is Shaffer. :)
I love all of these, mostly… I can never watch the girl eat the salt. I feel so bad for her!
Love the videos, but hate the watermark over 1/2 the screen
Either the watermark (diluted here) or no video. You choose.
9:32 Is this Jordan Schlansky? Spittin’ image.
Jordan was born in 1973. He would have been 22 in 1995. So no, that’s not Jordan.
Also, his name is David 7:08. I do like his shirt, though.
😄Wow! Yes!!! LOL
50:31 Cool parenting for this young boy! 😎
Which were yours??😮
