I didn't even know why whenever my dog groomed himself after a bath I would sit there hypnotized eyes glazed over and watch him. He would even stare at me from the corner of his eyes like I was a weirdo. I only discovered pet grooming ASMR was a thing last month.

+Pokenful Depends if your cat is an outdoor or an indoor cat. I see no reason bathing a cat unless it's REALLY filthy (mud and stuff). They can clean themselves. :)
Tony Coughlan I was told that the bites were to to get rid of tough knots or get into tough spaces (in between paws). Their tongue is a brush, and they sometimes use their teeth to untangle as well. 😊
You have a 'noise' carpet that you want to reduce, it's white noise basically. the mic's gain needs to be turned down a bit so that you hear the cat and not the noise of the recording device. don't get me wrong, i love your videos, but that noise shouldn't be there. - Miles
+magikmiles We also noticed that noise-floor in all of our recordings. We actually pump up the gain very much just to get any sound at all. We are still looking for a much better microphone that records enough "juice". We are amazed how great the audio sounds from some of the bigger asmr channels. Basically noise-less.

Glad you like it. A lot of people find the videos helpful for falling asleep so it seems only fitting to show the little pirate sleeping too.
If it's a new video he puts me to sleep in about 3-4 minutes, it happens that i drop my phone as well. Grooming #7 is my all time favorite so far :)

The pirate is our first cat, so we are no real experts on that. But sammy is a european shorthair and we can definitely recommend cats like him :)

+CatCloseUps I know. It's a bit of a drag really. I think you may need a directional mic. The gain is killing your quality. :-)
