That depends on the company or vendor you are applying for. If it's a vendor and you know that they don't require PG you don't need to provide your SSN instead provide them your DUNS & EIN so they can pull your Business Credit Report instead. If they need it for identity verification which some vendors do, you can freeze your credit report to make sure you won't get inquiries. Please note other type of financing would still require PG, it varies depending on the type of financing you are looking for.

Ty how do you overcome the companies asking you for your personal SSN - all stores you mentioned do ask for my SSN.
