What a great experience. I did a build back in 2019. My brother had organized a family trip to Florida. I had told my younger brother since I didn't get him anything for his birthday I'd get him something from Disney. I asked if he wanted to build a lightsaber with me. He was shocked but gladly accepted. It was a close call though because in those early days you had to schedule in advance. I told the woman outside this was my only day and asked if she could check again. I got really lucky there were two openings at the end of the night. My brother was a bit unsure because he hadn't been watching these videos like I had. I recommend Protection and Defense with a green crystal. He went with Power and Control with a purple crystal. It was such a great experience. I went very traditional with Peace and Justice with a blue crystal. Though I did get the other crystals for my holocron. It was funny trying to find Savi's though. We weren't sure where it was so I asked a cast member if they knew where I could find scrap. She pointed us in the right direction and everyone else was shocked at how that went. It was fun being in the "know."
Great story thank you for sharing! That’s what these builds are all about, making memories we will never forget. I don’t have siblings myself, my two buddies in the video are the closest thing to brothers I have. So when I did the build it made the experience better.
I’m a Dark Side guy. The purple was a great call for the Power and Command. Thanks for adding in the video that red isn’t the only Dark Side color, purple can be considered Dark Side also. Well played! 👏👏👏
@@xwhopperheadx thanks Fabian! I’m headed to WDW in July. I’m going to build a P&C with a violet Kyber crystal also. However personally I like the other beveled emitter, but still like the spikier end cap. Plus, it’ll fit in the bag. LOL.
Might be a stupid question: but can you swap out the kyber crystal in your buildable lightsaber with the black crystal? (Or any additional ones you can purchase)
the store for different sized blades and kyber crystals is right next to savi's exit as a way to people go and buy complementary accesories and clothing. the crystals also work with the different holocrons and wether you put them into a sith or jedi holocron, different jedi/sith will talk. The only exception as I know is the white crystal: only the Ashoka blades have that color and since they're sold with the blade itself, it cannot change nor it has an actual crystal
Great video! I'm a Star Wars fan and do want to experience the lightsaber building some day, but tbh, I'm not a fan of the bulky look of them and the fact they are for display purposes-only. Meaning, you shouldn't actually duel with them. Unlike the 3rd party lightsabers that you can actually duel with.
The prices from California differ from Florida. The savis workshop in Anaheim (which is where I did the building) is $220. In Florida it’s 250 I believe. Seems like a lot but trust me it’s worth it. :)
@@vex_wrestling8525 I completely agree. I just got back this week from Disney World, and my absolute favorite part was Galaxy's Edge. I'm a middle-class guy, so I don't have much extra money to spend, but I would 100% recommend paying the $250 for Savi's workshop. It's an experience I'll never forget. The lightsabers are very sturdy and weighty, so it feels worth the price with the experience. They only take around 12 people at a time, so it's much more personable than the regular route, as well.
Black kyber crystal with power and control would look awesome!
Unfortunately the blade still comes out red. 😅
So glad yt algorithm recommended your channel!! Subscribed ⚡️👍🥷☺️
Welcome aboard!

Great video!!
Thank you! :D
So true, the experience is amazing!!
Especially when activating your lightsaber for the first time! :)

Thank you for the kind words. More Disneyland Star Wars content are being made! Stay tuned

that dog is so freacking cute
Thank you :) you can expect more of him in future videos!
I’m too scared to talk to any characters at Disney 😂😭
They are friendly! But not so much the storm troopers 😅
Everyone: So cool, the new Power And Control Laser Saber parts!
Me: Oh cool, the guy who runs the attraction has a keyblade tattooed on his right arm.
What!? I’ve never noticed that! 😅
OMG that dog bed is so cute! How much was it? Im not sure if they’d still have it in the parks since it’s July
Thank you! It’s $220 all year around to do.
@@xwhopperheadx oh I was talking about the price of the dog bed

Yes it's sadly still a red blade
Yes. The Savi’s workshop saber will change color with the corresponding crystal… but as stated above, the black crystal will show a red blade.
You can also fine different colored crystals such as white and yellow if they have any in stock at dok ondar's.

Yes you can, the one blade takes on the color of whatever color crystal you put in BUT! The black crystal comes out as red

Is it actually possible to buy a black kyber saber crystal from the store to put inside the lightsaber you make?
Yes. But only is you buy the red ones and hopefully you get a black one. It’s a gamble
@@xwhopperheadx What about for the white crystal?
If I met Boba, I would fucking cry
How much is it to make the saber, i rlly want to do this. Florida or California location?

@@xwhopperheadx ok, thanks for letting me know

I don’t much get this, the hilt and the rest of the items are the same as the others but not random?
Aren't saber hilts supposed to be easily and comfortably held in your hands? Are these made for Andre The Giant or what?
Lol!
I did this about 2 weeks ago. I will say it’s still worth it, if you’re a star wars fan.
100%
I built my protection and defense lightsaber back in 2021 but these new parts are tempting to back and build another one lol
To that I say, treat yourself!
I have only bought 1 red kyber crystals from Disney and it was black
You should have bought a lotto ticket after. That’s crazy lucky.

He's so ugly, he's cute.
That’s what I always say! Lol kassidy disagrees
Who’s that ratchet hyna @ 16:39 😂
XD
Some crazy ass hyna lmao
just a reminder that it costs 350 dollars before tax to build your lightsaber. spend your money wisely.
The 350 disney lightsabers look cheap quality imo in comparison to the ones you can get online.
