I was told to watch "The Guilty". It's a 2018 Danish movie and supposed to be good. the Netflix one is actually an American Remake of the 2018 one, but I was told the Danish version it's better. I personally have not seen either version, but I usually prefer to watch the original version before the remake to get a better sense of how they differ from one another.
For Squid Game, be sure to pick the 'English' subtitles, not 'English [CC]' (which is often the default). The CC subtitles are based on the dubbed dialogue. The non CC subtitles are translated from the Korean dialogue.
Over the garden wall is one of my favorite cartoon shows I love it! Also I watched ginger snaps and scream for the first time on Halloween and scream easily became my new favorite movie

I am truly dying to hear your opinion on I Know What You Did Last Summer TV series. This is one of my most beloved horror franchises (well apart from the third one of course) and I've been waiting for a reboot for a long time. And what we got in the form of this Amazon show is quite bizarre
I finally watched all of the saw movies (except spiral) and I surprisingly wasn't as afraid as I thought I would be. I loved all of them and it was so interesting! I finally understand why people love them so much
I HIGHLY recommend the limited series on Netflix Midnight Mass. I think it’s my favorite that Flanagan has done. And if you haven’t already, The Outsider (Stephen King) on HBO has similar pacing and vibes.
I did 31 Days of Horror! Out of all the movies I’ve watched in October, Titane was the one that blew my head off! This film is layered with lots of commentary about gender fluidity, sexuality, trauma-bond, and love in general. The director Julia Ducournau outdid ‘Raw,’ in my opinion.
Have you ever talked about your thoughts on The Visit before in a video? I rewatched it last weekend after not seeing it since it was in theaters and it is a wild and weird ride lmao
I participated in 31 days of horror in october so I watched many horror movies. The best one was The Skin I Live In, blew me away, absolutely terrifying. Other ones that I finally watched and also loved are - The Descent, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (from the 50s), Hellraiser, Silent Hill, The Babadook and Paranormal Activity (first one, now I understand why it's so popular). And on the actual day/night of Halloween I rewatched two of my favourite horror movies, both remakes, House of Wax and The Fly. Great video as usual. For The Guilty, I saw people talking about it on my timeline but they usually mentioned why the need to remake the danish original thriller - so I'm more interested in watching the original even though I love Jake Gyllenhaal :)
Have you seen the horror Christmas movie Krampus? I watched it again recently (I saw it in theatres when it came out) and I liked it. It’s fun and it’s really really cozy when they’re inside the house in the dark
I love What We Do in the Shadows! I'm not an Office fan, but Parks n Rec is my fave show of all time. I think it has to do with the type of humor. I watched the following on Halloween day: Hush, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Trick-r-Treat.
My favorite thing I watched in October was probably a giallo called "So Sweet, So Dead". I also watched Gonjiam because of you and BRUH you were right... that was scary.
Next of Kin was awesome. The demon Asmodeus written on the floor of the church is one and the same as Tobi. Paranormal Activity 8:The Other Side comes out next year.
Squid Game...agree with choosing the subtitled version. And that game involving a bridge -- I literally had to pause that episode a couple of times and practice deep breathing techniques.
Hey Sarah! I have an idea for a video. Lately I've been trying to show someone horror movies to scare them. They keep saying "that wasn't scary" or "that was dumb and boring." I'm suspecting they just are refusing to immerse themselves into the films. Long story short, you should do a video of "movies to show people who don't get scared" or something of that nature. Thanks for the content, long time subscriber here. Love your channel, cheers!
I love the first two I know what you did last summer movies, but while I would love your opinion on the show, it isn’t very great. The mystery is cranked up from the movies but that is it. My hope is that the last two episodes gives something more to offer.
Yesssss Scary Stories is one of my favorite horror movies (if not my actual fav) and so after staying up watching Ghostbusters with my dad leading into Halloween, I stayed up until like 4 or 5 am watching Scary Stories, cuz my family doesn't really vibe with horror movies and so I wanted to get to watch it before later when we'd be watching other stuff 😂🙈 Later I watched two Abbott and Costello movies with my parents and then my mom introduced me to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and we binged the first 3 episodes. Then I watched an episode of the show Psych (literally my childhood, I started watching it during the first season when I was 5 and have been obsessed ever since) called Tuesday the 17th that's a little bit of a spoof/tribute to Friday the 13th. It's funny AND a little intense and it was the perfect way to cap off the evening 🙃
We watched Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost, Scooby Doo Zombie Island, Bride of Chucky, Night of the Living Dead (1990) and Halloween 4 & Halloween 5. All rewatches except for Bride of Chucky (my husband had never seen it). 🎃
I've been reluctant to watch the show because I enjoy the movie so much, I have an aversion to the possibility that they ruin the concept with the show. But that feeling I have goes for most shows that follow a completed narrative in a movie.
