I am from Gainesville and remember the first HWM show I went to. FU*KING AMAZING!!! Nothing like a HWM show. Life changing event.
I just saw them at their 30th anniversary tour in Atlanta, they have a very loyal fan base here, and it was incredible. They made a bunch of 40 year olds turn into high school punk rock kids for 45 minutes. Most humble band ever

Yes! This was the first time I saw HWM. Though it was not haunted... as the tape would suggest. How about those beards huh!? 10 years before anyone else (not counting folk musicians). I remember thinking they must have been brothers. Hah!

That crowd doesn't really understand what they are witnessing. Too dumbfounded to appreciate the greatness.
I was there. Fat dude in the blue shirt at the end, right behind the band. We knew EXACTLY what we were witnessing. An incredible moment in time that would never happen again. Even at the moment, there was a sense that we were experiencing something special.
@@elerner yeah dont listen to pseudo punks... that guy maybe never went to a show like this in the 90's.. I saw this guys in 98 in san diego... amazing show...
