not to comment a third time, but i have been unable to stop thinking about how this is one of the few representations of Oyun that really nails how complex he is. Because he's not unsympathetic! He really, truly wants his people to have the dignity the town has been leeching away. But also he's big & intimidating & does in fact lead with force. But also he's our (well, artemy's) uncle....
i knwo i already commented but i'm just in awe of the intertextuality of the lyrics in all your songs; especially "you've been gone too long" here vs the "it's been so long since i've come here/so terribly long i've been gone" in Burakh
your Oyun here is honestly so good?? i get the mish mash between his two versions perfectly and his lyrics are very Him, he's totally recognizable! another banger as always
spoken dialogue hell yess it's so great I think this is actually gonna become my favorite song on the musical apart of The Ace of Diamonds Caravan (and Burakh)
