Stat to keep in mind that I haven’t seen anyone else talking about, since they’ve added stages to NASCAR, no one has made the final 4 in Cup with less than 200 stage points earned over the course of the full season. 1/5/11/19/20/24/45 are the 7 who have either hit 200 already or are averaging enough stage points per race to hit 200 before the finale. Although the 1 & 20 are only barely hitting that threshold.
If Denny wins, every driver will be aching to start podcasts next year. Podcast=Championship
if by some divine error logano makes it as far as the round of 8, i have absolutely no doubt he'll sneak his way into the final 4. his record at those three tracks, las vegas especially, should speak for itself. on the flipside, i feel the same about kyle larson. if he makes his way out of the chaos that is the round of 12 (it's kyle larson at a superspeedway, the joke writes itself), he's almost guaranteed a spot in the final 4 because of just how good he is at those round of 8 tracks.
Chris Buescher vs Denny Hamlin photo finish for the win at Phoenix is my hopeful prediction
Crazy you have Bell making it as far as he did in your prediction. I have him not making the round of 12. He’s been wildly inconsistent this year.
I have almost the exact same predictions I just seen either Byron or Larson winning this season
Ro16 Stenhouse, Wallace, Blaney, Reddick
Ro12 Buescher, Bell, Logano, Chastain
Ro8 Byron, Larson, Keselowski, McDowell
Ro4 Harvick, Hamlin, Busch, Truex
Champ=Harvick
PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS:
Round of 16: #12, #34, #45, #47
Round of 12: #1, #4, #20, #23
Round of 8: #6, #8, #17, #22
Championship 4: #5, #11, #19, #24
Champion: #19
Bubba is the sleeper playoff driver. Just look at the first 3 races of the first round
Bubba Is not getting passed the 2nd round and thats being generous.
Usually years when we all have a very good idea of how the rounds are gonna go is usually when the final outcome is going to be ass backwards.
Byron Gets eliminated in round of 8 and truex as well. Larson, Hamlin, Busch, Chastain (only if he decides to wreck everybody out of the way). Hamlin wins the championship.
12, 17, 34, 47 eliminated
1, 4, 6, 23 eliminated
11, 19, 22, 24 eliminated
5, 8, 20, 45 with Larson as King
Nice, here are mine (some hot takes but nothing ridiculous imo)
Round of 16:
Busch
Blaney
Stenhouse Jr
McDowell
The 34 and 47 teams aren’t ready for a playoff run imo, Blaney has fallen off a cliff since his win and Busch is too inconsistent and RCR has struggled on short tracks so I think Bristol might be trouble for him.
Round of 12:
Logano
Reddick
Harvick
Wallace
Wallace sucks on RCs and equipment can only carry you so far, the 45 team as a whole cannot run a clean race most races, as for Harvick SHR just isn’t a team that can make a deep run anymore and even though Logano always seems to turn it up a notch in the Playoffs, Penske has struggled this season and he has very few playoff points. If Keselowski doesn’t win Dega I got Logano making the Round of 8 instead.
Round of 8:
Christopher Bell
Chris Buescher
Ross Chastain
Brad Keselowski
RFK and Trackhouse don’t have the same speed Hendrick and Gibbs have and as for Bell I think he’s a step below the Hendrick and other JGR cars in the playoffs.
Championship 4
William Byron
Martin Truex Jr
Denny Hamlin
Kyle Larson
Champion: Martin Truex Jr
It just feels like his year. He needs redemption after the system screwed him over last season. Also there is a bit of a pattern of top tier drivers winning the championship the season after they miss the playoffs. Logano did it in 2017-2018 and Larson as well in 2020-2021.
Also race wins:
Southern 500: Ross Chastain
Kansas: Tyler Reddick
Bristol: Kevin Harvick
Texas: Kyle Larson
Talladega: Brad Keselowski
Charlotte Roval: Chase Elliott
Las Vegas: William Byron
Homestead: Denny Hamlin
Martinsville: Martin Truex Jr
Phoenix: Martin Truex Jr
Don't forget, KYLE BUSCH was on his way to winning the fall Darlington race in 2022 when his engine blew up under caution with 20 laps to go. The same thing happened at Bristol in 2022.
ROWDY has way more speed this season, compared to last season .
Kyle Busch's results over the past 2 months reflect in no way how he was actually performing in the races. He has been plagued with mechanical failures and just plain bad luck.
Hopefully they have gotten past all the bad luck and mechanical issues.
ROWDY ran very well at DAYTONA, which he has a problem doing. Daytona is his worst track
ROWDY BUSCH HAS MOMENTUM AFTER DAYTONA, HE STILL HAS THAT CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER.
During his interview today he looks relaxed and VERY confident.
My prediction is in.
ROWDY will win Darlington and Bristol, and Phoenix ..
ROWDY GETS 3RD CHAMPIONSHIP.
ROWDY BUSCH WILL FINALLY WIN THE DAYTONA 500 ON HIS 20TH ATTEMPT IN 2024.
Honestly I just don't trust RCR. Some weeks they click but some weeks they don't. But I think this Kyle is different from last year, or the past 2-3. Looking back it seemed like he was one foot out the door long before the contract negotiations went haywire with Gibbs, just didn't feel like he was on the level of Hamlin or Truex. JGR had the cars to win, he led laps, but there were times he just shot himself in the foot. Pit road errors, spinning out, quite a few self inflicted mistakes. But this year he's different, but I'm not sure if RCR can give him speed for the next 10 weeks at the level of Hendrick, Gibbs, RFK, etc. I know he's got it but I don't think the pieces fall in place. Ready for him and RCR to prove me wrong cause I hope they do
You have yet to make that video I requested cursed paint schemes diet mountain dew number 88 car siver version 2012-2015
How come you only picked playoff drivers to win races? There are more than 16 drivers that can win and you forget to factor that into when picking.

Mcdowell
Harvick
Wallace
Round of 12
Reddick
Logano
Keselowski
Hamlin
Round of 8
Blaney
Chastain
Bell
Busch
Final 4
Larson
Buescher

MTJ
Champion: Buescher
I’m liking my picks less and less lol

8: blaney, Chastain, buescher, Hamlin
Championship four: Byron, Larson, truex, bell
Champion: Byron
Winners(race order):Byron, truex, Larson; Chastain, wallace, bell; Byron, Larson, truex; Byron
Honestly sad you are expecting us to insult you. Pull those pants up and ban everyone who disagrees!
Denny's podcast made me a fan, so I'm down.
My personal final four doesn't even have him though! Mine is #5, #17, #19, #24.
Round of 16 exits: Keselowski, Bubba, Reddick, Stenhouse Jr
Round of 12 exits: Blaney, Harvick, Chastain, Larson
Round of 8 exits: Logano, Bell, McDowell, Buescher
Champion: Busch
I don’t know, I feel like it’s going to be Byron, but I also can’t see another championship slipping away from KFB if he has it in his sights again.
These did not age well lol
I think it's realistic. But who knows? Takes luck to win these things sometimes.
Kyle bush is done
