I love the cadence of your speech. Very pleasing to the ear. Everything you’ve shown in this video is gorgeous. I have a very small trident maple which I’m going to plant, similar to amur maple, I think. Red maples grow like weeds here in southcoast MA but they get too big for most suburban lots. Great youtube channel

Planted 2 tiger eye sumac after seeing your previous video on them- absolutely love them. Can’t wait to see the fall color

Awesome! If you can avoid pruning, the seed heads that will form are super cool too.

One my favorite buckeyes is Aesculus pavia; the red buckeye. Beautiful red blooms and some nice fall color. It will maybe survive your region as it is hardy to zone 4 but if you have a bone chilling winter, that might kill it.

That’s a new one to me. Curious that I’ve never come across that variety, but I’m going to keep an eye out for one. Thanks.

@@gardenhike It’s from the southeastern US. It’s very beautiful with its blooms. The hummingbirds love them.

Does the Acer ginnala seed around much? Like, do you have to pull hundreds of saplings every spring?

For me, no. But mine are in a pretty dry area so less chance for germination. If conditions are prime, yes, it can be a problem.
