LVC 1947 raw buy 2 sizes bigger in waist( reason they runs 1 size small to beguin with for some reason and also they shrink 1 full size in the waist) just buy them 2 size bigger in the waist and thank me later
I used to hand wash couple of times, but got kind of lazy and now wash all my jeans with washing machine. Frankly speaking, I reckon there’s not much difference.
@@godo_denims so it did not shrink through the washing maschine? I reckon that the guy in the store earlier this year told me, that if I wash it by hand I will have to stick with it. Other than that I think with the washing maschine the fade lines will be stronger I think
@@adreus4759 As far as I'm aware of, the shrinkage has more to do with the temperature of the water or drying process. if you want less shrink, I advise you to not use the dryer. Also, with less washes, the fade contrast becomes stronger. if you have more questions, let me know :)
Hello! Good day, i'm new to levi's. i have one exactly just like this, i was just wondering if yours have a serial stamp on the button enclosure? Mine does not have it so does it mean it's fake? But the quality is on point stitchings etc. Etc. Mine is made in bulgaria tho. Thank you! Hope you reply ♥️
@@iriemotorsport9438 Hey there, I’m not totally sure what you mean by serial stamp, but my button ans rivets do have levis logo engraved on them. Also there are a lot of fake levis put there so it is diffcult to just check one part and tell if a pair of jeans is fake or not.

@@iriemotorsport9438 oh I see mine doesn’t have any, but I think that’s a detail they did on purpose because the top button printings didn’t come until the 60s and these 501s are a remake of the 1947s version. So it depends on what year version your levis are. Also if it’s a real vintage, there are a lot of other details you can check of as well depending on the year
Not really. It does shrink a bit when you wash and dry them, but when you wear them for a day, it stretches back to its original size. I would say they shrank for the first 2 washes only.

Not really. It does shrink a bit when you wash and dry them, but when you wear them for a day, it stretches back to its original size.
I would say they shrank for the first 2 washes only.
