So is the ways of God. The prophets of Baal mocked and disrespected Elijah for his isolation and stance on truth contrary to theirs. He believed in labouring in the wilderness to give to those in need in due season. The other camp believed in the fast lane and fat cow( meat for the belly) promises to people and gain as godliness. They felt Elijah's process is time wasting and unnecessary delay contrary to ways of God. But Elijah assured them by the time he's ready to come out,he had gained both godliness and speed to overtake all that has gone ahead of him with proof of abundant rain. Because the increase of the earth comes from much abundance of rain from above and not in fatness of cows or labouring for immediate gratification of the flesh.
Hence,he proved that God still bless with increase those who wait upon him,with abundant rain to water the earth to yield its increase. It is rain from heaven that give increase to the earth,not in labouring and toiling to till the ground in drought.
Only in the wilderness you find and know the God that loves to hide himself, who alone is the saviour.Isaiah 45:15
God sees as stealing or robbery,any who does not labour in the word to prepare food from above to serve the needy,yet love to be enriched with their material things. Everyone know the way to fast food joints to buy junk food,but real meals are taken time to be prepared at home(should from above) to avoid death in the pot. Only those who receive meal from above through the windows of heaven are entirely to material treasures given to God,as they also bring in treasures from above in exchange. Hence,if you don't labour for that,you must not eat from it too. But they choose robbery,to take it by force while they forsake God. When the window is shut,the little they stole will soon finish,and they resort to preparing junk food.
In this last days,the faithful will not only receive open windows,but OPEN DOORS they knew not before.
All the robbers of God SHALL be robbed back of the little they have left. Hence ,he asked," can a man rob God?"
How I would have liked to be like him
Elijah is the most popular prophet being a man of GOD in the OLD TESTAMENT BIBLE. And he is not died because GOD YAHWEH and HE TOOK HIM to heaven. Sabbath shalom to him forever and ever. In YESHUA ha Masiach name we pray. Amen, Amen and Amen 🙏🙏🙏
