She became the matriarch of Christ. Judah called her more righteous than he was because he would not give his son to her as promised out of fear of losing his third son. Reuben, also, tried to see their half brother given a sharp lesson by having him thrown down a well - but the others, especially Simeon - wanted Jospeh dead. As Joseph was the firstborn son of the favoured wife, he would have been given the double share; the older brothers already being disqualified for one reason or another. As such, they all had a vested interest in Joseph being killed; not just because Jospeh was a tactless, irritating prat when he was younger (however talented and handsome he might have been). Judah's idea - to sell their brother - was couched in terms the other brothers would have accepted, given that they were really obsessed with money rather than kinship.

I always thought about this question, why Yahudah when Yoceph exemplified a greater thing, -the forgiveness of all his brothers' sin against him and he even asked his father, Yaakov to pray for his brothers, that the Most High would forgive them of their trespasses against Yoceph. Want to add a view. All the patriarchs did not receive what they were promised in their lifetime. It’s how much one values God’s promises. Esau didn’t value his birthright because he doesn’t see any value in it. Neither does Reuben who has the birthright because he is the firstborn of Jacob’s first wife. Satisfying the current desire is more important to him. Therefore the birthright passes to Simeon, who is Leah’s second son. But Simeon and Levi also felt it is more important to seek revenge than honour the Abrahamic covenant to be a blessing to the nations. So they use the circumcision that is a reminder of the covenant to kill others. Hence the birthright passes to the fourth son Judah. Judah almost commits the same sin but his firstborn’s wife believes in the birthright. So Tamar found her own way to carry on the birthright. Now scripture is written as lessons for us. So how much do we treasure the hope of our salvation. It’s a hope because we have not yet received an eternal body and is something we may not yet receive in our lifetime. Do we give up on this hope when we encounter difficulties? Is the desire to satisfy the current need more important than holding on to the hope of our salvation?

So Marry being a virgin when she conceived Christ would strongly imply that Joseph had nothing to do with the pregnancy. Right? So two different lineages Matthew 1: and Luke 3: from king David’s sons ,Solomon Matthew 1: Marry’s husband., Nathan Luke 3: Marry’s father . Luke goes from Jesus all the way back to Adam the son of God. Mathew starts at Abraham and goes up to Joseph the husband of Marry. So Marry’s father was of Judah. Marry’s mother was of Levi so that would make Jesus half Judah (king line) and half Levite (priest line)

This is the second time I've seen one tie Yhwh to Joseph which is entirely false. Yhwh came from Leah and Joseph from Rachel. Benjamin would fit since they were part of the southern kingdom and even being descendants the first king of Israel. Only Judah is the king of kings through Yhwh and Kings do not share power there's only one ruler not two. The video explains why it is and there's no alternative truth.

As a Hebrew in the linage of the Tribe of Judah I don't necessarily agree with allot of this. First as usual all the pictures look as gentiles not as the Holy Scriptures detail "feet like brass", "dark skinned(Solomon) or people in the Book of Deuteronomy that would choose the curse and enter 400 years of slavery in the country of the north. Also, Judah slept with a prostitute that tricked him to get pregnant that he had first set by for her to be stoned. I'm not judging because ALL of them had something sinful. Amen!!! Sooo true!!! He also spared his daughter in law’s life when she was pretending to be a temple prostitute and laid with Judah to have a son and save her lineage. She became the matriarch of Christ. Judah called her more righteous than he was because he would not give his son to her as promised out of fear of losing his third son. Reuben, also, tried to see their half brother given a sharp lesson by having him thrown down a well - but the others, especially Simeon - wanted Jospeh dead. As Joseph was the firstborn son of the favoured wife, he would have been given the double share; the older brothers already being disqualified for one reason or another. As such, they all had a vested interest in Joseph being killed; not just because Jospeh was a tactless, irritating prat when he was younger (however talented and handsome he might have been). Judah's idea - to sell their brother - was couched in terms the other brothers would have accepted, given that they were really obsessed with money rather than kinship.
I asked this question to so many Scholars that why Jesus chose this Tribe and didn't get any answer.

I always thought about this question, why Yahudah when Yoceph exemplified a greater thing, -the forgiveness of all his brothers' sin against him and he even asked his father, Yaakov to pray for his brothers, that the Most High would forgive them of their trespasses against Yoceph. Want to add a view. All the patriarchs did not receive what they were promised in their lifetime. It’s how much one values God’s promises. Esau didn’t value his birthright because he doesn’t see any value in it. Neither does Reuben who has the birthright because he is the firstborn of Jacob’s first wife. Satisfying the current desire is more important to him. Therefore the birthright passes to Simeon, who is Leah’s second son. But Simeon and Levi also felt it is more important to seek revenge than honour the Abrahamic covenant to be a blessing to the nations. So they use the circumcision that is a reminder of the covenant to kill others. Hence the birthright passes to the fourth son Judah. Judah almost commits the same sin but his firstborn’s wife believes in the birthright. So Tamar found her own way to carry on the birthright. Now scripture is written as lessons for us. So how much do we treasure the hope of our salvation. It’s a hope because we have not yet received an eternal body and is something we may not yet receive in our lifetime. Do we give up on this hope when we encounter difficulties? Is the desire to satisfy the current need more important than holding on to the hope of our salvation?

Jesus wasn’t Joseph’s son. His earthly blood line came from Marry . She was half Juda and half Levi .
Juda= King line /from father
Levi= Priest line /from mother

Luke is Marry’s lineage.

@markmontgomery1772 Mary's lineage is not mentioned in scripture. Only Joseph was recorded as being from house of David (Luke 1:27)
So Marry being a virgin when she conceived Christ would strongly imply that Joseph had nothing to do with the pregnancy. Right? So two different lineages Matthew 1: and Luke 3: from king David’s sons ,Solomon Matthew 1: Marry’s husband.,
Nathan Luke 3: Marry’s father . Luke goes from Jesus all the way back to Adam the son of God.
Mathew starts at Abraham and goes up to Joseph the husband of Marry. So Marry’s father was of Judah. Marry’s mother was of Levi so that would make Jesus half Judah (king line) and half Levite (priest line)

Nowadays, with the availability of videos, it has become easier to grasp any subject matter within a few minutes. However, reading and comprehending scriptures require a significant amount of time and effort. According to the laws of Moses and the teachings of Essahak, the son of Abraham, marrying women from abominable tribes would result in expulsion from the community. Judah, despite being aware of this, still had children through such an unlawful union. How can we possibly explain this?
WHAT EXACTLY IS HELL?
Hell is a place filled with God's wrath. Hell is a strong delusion that is sent from God the Father.

Joseph's son Ephraim is the firstborn tribe.
This is the second time I've seen one tie Yhwh to Joseph which is entirely false. Yhwh came from Leah and Joseph from Rachel. Benjamin would fit since they were part of the southern kingdom and even being descendants the first king of Israel. Only Judah is the king of kings through Yhwh and Kings do not share power there's only one ruler not two. The video explains why it is and there's no alternative truth.

He is from the line of Judah because his dad Joseph and lineage of David, but His actual blood is Levite. His Mother was from the tribe of Levites. That's why He will always be our high priest.
Joseph is not from Judah and Joseph is also not a Levite who shares the same mother Leah as his younger brother born after him. The tribe of Levi are those with the 12 stones breastplate and only them, it's not a universal gift.

As a Hebrew in the linage of the Tribe of Judah I don't necessarily agree with allot of this. First as usual all the pictures look as gentiles not as the Holy Scriptures detail "feet like brass", "dark skinned(Solomon) or people in the Book of Deuteronomy that would choose the curse and enter 400 years of slavery in the country of the north.
Also, Judah slept with a prostitute that tricked him to get pregnant that he had first set by for her to be stoned.
I'm not judging because ALL of them had something sinful. I actually watched this out of curiosity because I always wondered why Joseph the only righteous out the 12 linage wasn't chosen.
From the prominent son, Joseph(the coat of many colors, son of Jacob and Rachel), his lineage departed from Jerusalem about 600 BC before the Babylons conquered the rest of Israel which included the tribe of Judah.
