    Hello Alexa. If you get a chance, could you share a video about the expression, Je suis en train de. ... ? I've heard it's like an equivalent of present continues in English. Thanks a lot. Blessings for you and all

    • @Gary-pe4ce
      @Gary-pe4ce Рік тому +3

      Étre en train de = in the process of.
      You can use to describe your current action or you can use it to describe an action that was in motion but interrupted.
      In the process of requires présent form of être:
      Je suis en train de faire une pause = I am currently on break
      For an action interrupted you use imparfait:
      J'étais en train de faire une pause quand vous m'avez appelé
      I was on break when you called me.

    • @AxoKandPogo
      @AxoKandPogo Рік тому +2

      It depends on the word before. The type of wine: Du = De + Le = demonstrative. You are talking about a specific wine, on the contrary, The type of wine: De = De + Un = general. This is the guy in general. No precision

    Hello, i was wondering if you have any advice for coming up with the response in a timely manner? i can read and generally understand french as it is written and spoken, and my pronunciation is okay, but ive always struggled to come up with a response to what was said, essentially going back from english to french in my head. any tips? I've struggled with this in the past when i first started learning french about 11 years ago, and decided to pick it back up recently. thanks so much!

      Vous avez écrit bien, mais faites attention avec la langue. Le mot "langue" est feminine mais lorsque vous dites la langue d'un pays, il est toujours masculine.
      Vous allez essayer et apprendre le français.
      Ou
      Si vous voudriez, on peut utiliser "française" comme un adjectif qui est d'accord avec le mot "langue".
      Apprendre la langue française.
      Et en plus, il faut placer les adverbs à côté du verb conjugué par exemple j'utilise l'adverb "parfaitement". On peut utiliser d'autres adverbs
      Je vais parfaitement essayer et apprendre la langue française.
      Ou comme votre phrase
      Je vais très bien essayer et apprendre le français.
      You wrote well, just becareful as the word "language" itself is feminine while the actual name of language of a country is always masculine, unless you want to use that name of the language an adjective for the word "language" as it needs to agree with its gender.
      Also, you must use adverbs when you want to express on doing something, in this example the adverb "perfectly" is used
      I will try and learn french perfectly.
      You can use other adverbs.

    Speak in whole phrases. This can decide whether you need to make an appointment with your dentist or not. Example: you want to explain to your new banlieue friend that his mother told you to tell him that diner will be delicious. So you hang there, trying to get your french phrase together and beginn with "Ta mére" and pause, to remember how the phrase goes on and the last that you will see in your field of vision is a fast approaching fist with kinectic energy, sending you to the above mentioned dentist.
    Speak in Whole phrases, your teeth depend on this. Begin with a simplifyed phrase like "Ta mére, elle m'a dit que..." and you're out the outch-zone. Speak in whole phrases, if you need to know one thing about french, it' speaking in whole phrases, not leaving anything to vengeful fantasy. Parlez en phrases entieres!
